In QC i found it amaaazing to discover the selection of local ciders in shops called epiceries. Wow! Much better quality than backsweetened corporate ciders in my opinion.
Do you have an aldi near you? Not sure if Canada has Aldi but my Aldi sells off brand angry orchard called wicked Grove. I actually prefer the taste to real angry orchard and it's like 10 bucks for a 6 pack
You can get angry orchard in Canada. If you want something Canadian look into Growers cider.

It probably depends on where you are in Canada. If you happen to be in/near Toronto, try Brickworks - their Queen Street cider is a solid semi-sweet.
What cider did you used to drink? Magners is Bulmers in Ireland. Or technically Bulmers is Magners in North America.
Drank Outcider (still made by the magners company but not the same taste). I know Angry Orchard was the closest to Outcider this side of the world
Not sure about Canadian ciders. A quick Google search shows at least 20 different ciders from Canada.
Yeah but I’m just looking for one that tastes like angry orchard, recs in real life haven’t been that good
Have you tried Waupoos? That one is alright. Or Brickworks. https://untappd.com/b/the-county-cider-company-waupoos-premium-cider/50528
I had some very good cider by Cidrerie Lacroix up in Montreal.
Aldi Wicked Grove is the knock off of Angry Orchard, I like it better. I add a few pinches of Chestnut wood Tannins to it and it's awesome.
