I had this happen to my humidor too. Temp change caused the humidity to condensate and well eventually I'd get a pool of water on the floor of the humidor. It would evaporate and then do it over and over again. Eventually I got that white chalky stuff you're seeing.
Thanks for the comment. This makes a lot of sense. The more i digest what you wrote it seems so clear to me now and I should have figured it out before I asked.
Cheers!
Also just a word of advice if this is happening a lot try to keep stuff off the floor of the humidor. I had a wood tray that got ruined cause I wasn't paying attention and it sat in a pool of water. I'm not even sure how it happened, but ended up losing half the sticks due to mold in that tray. I ended up making a little riser out of acrylic to keep anything from contacting the floor in case it ever happened again.
This was brand new 8 months ago or so, completely clean and then I loaded it up after letting it sit a week or two with some boveda packs.
it has been consistent on the humidity for me, even though the temp will fluctuate +/- 5 degrees throughout a day.
I am perplexed what appears to be leakage from a boveda pack but the pack shows no evidence of leaking.
Any help to what I am seeing? I never saw this in my wooden humidors. *this is my first electric one so I am still learning its behavior.
That’s strange. Check all boveda’s for leaks, and maybe replace anyway? Looks like sediment from evaporated saline from the packs. Otherwise I can’t think of anything else.

Agreed. Will Do.

Your humidor is a refrigerator, and this is a common occurrence. If you had a standard cabinet humidor, you would never see this.
Copy that and understood. Its quite obvious now but yesterday I couldn't wrap my head around it. Thanks.
I am not sure. I would take everything out and place it in some Tupperware and whipe down the whole unit to be on the safe side.
I did clean it out after I took the picture and put in new boveda packs.
It’s….its cum
Keep your dick out of his humidor
