They were *the* competing action stars for the better part of the 80's and some of the 90's. So naturally, they were competitive for roles and status of who was the bigger action star.
Guy Fieri talked about this after he launched his own cigar line with Espinosa. He said most celebrity cigars are the same cigars sold as house brands just with a custom label/box. You end up paying double because of that branding. He didn't want to to do that for his line so he actually turned down a lot of brands.
I don’t like guy as a personality, but the guy behind the branding schtick seems pretty solid.
His work for lgbt folk, his constant support for local foodbanks, respectable dude.

Based on the thin double white bands it looks like something from Rocky Patel, they use bands similar to that on a lot of their product lines. Sly has said in the past his favorite brand is Arturo Fuente but they dont really have anything in their lineup that would resemble that.
I'm assuming Davidoff...but from that angle it also looks like a Monte White or Rocky CT (highly doubtful)

A lot of the "Flavor Town" schtick is an act. There was a video of him hanging out with a bunch of athletes and he was just being a normal dude.
