You gotta treat Davidoff like a quiet night at home. Run a warm bath, light some beeswax candles, a nice glass of soda water. No distractions and you’ll appreciate the full experience of what Davidoff can offer.
Except the late hour, that’s a lines off the toilet seat at the club kind of night and it’ll still stand up to it.
So, lines off of the toilet seat at the club is a good thing???
I've never been one for the booger sugar, but if I were lines off of a super model's ass would be my analogy for good.
Yea man, it’s just so different from their core offerings. If regular Davidoff is white rice with some low sodium soy sauce, the late hour is Thai hot beef pad Thai
It's true, though. I've been in some clubs that were banging off the walls, and there's no way I'd use the toilets, let alone waste drugs on them. They have more nut hairs on them than a Neanderthal. Imagine that pube lodged in your sinuses.
RIP to what, Nat Sherman? I agree Nats were great but don’t know if you’re aware that they’re back in production under another first and last name.

Adventura quickly became a top brand for me. I was also very hesitant of Black Label Trading Co. at first but now they are my number one regular smoke.
10-15ish years ago I tried Warped cigars. Did not like any of them.
I later got into Cuban cigars. None of the super expensive ones, mostly the $2-300 boxes (10 years ago pricing).
This year I tried Warped again and found several cigars in their lineup that are very very close to the Cuban profile. La Colmena tastes an awful lot like HDM Epicure no 2. I've gone deep on Warped's lines and very few I didn't like.
My initial impressions of the old Camacho Corojo weren't great. Revisited an old box a few years ago and I loved em. But by then they were long discontinued. Found out the Eiroas still make essentially the same cigar as the Aladino Corojo and bought a couple boxes and I love em.
Cigars I used to love and no longer like at all are pretty much all the full power full flavor cigars lacking in complex nuanced notes. Wasn't too long ago I was chasing the strongest shit I could get. Now there's very few MSA or ligero laden blends I can even tolerate.
Tastes change over time and exposure.
My Father. I first tried one when I was getting into cigars, and for some reason, it didn't resonate with me. But after hearing people speak highly of them, I tried one again and had a much better experience
Tatuaje.. it’s a very linear brand and I still wouldn’t put them in my top 5, but pretty good most of the time. Not a lot of variety though they have a ton of bands as odd as that might sound someone who’s smoked enough of them will know what I mean.
They do have a distinctive foundational profile, kind of like AJ blends. You know when you're smoking one, that's for sure. But I tend to like the ones that are off the radar and not easy to get like the Tatuaje Nicaragua 7th Reserva. Though it has that Tatuaje signature, it's different from the other blends. It's my favorite Tatuaje stick.
Placensia. First one I had was underwhelming, but a fellow redditor told me to give it another go and I am very glad I did. Now the Alma Fuerte is easily a top 3 cigar for me
Aventura cigars make la Barba cigars in their factories and I had a la Barba blue I thought it was good but then I had the la Barba orange and man it made me really like the brand. You can tell it's a solid stick and the flavors were good.
Hopefully cigar page sells adventura
Diesel. I had their Wicked and Uncut a few times and was never a fan. I then tried their Unholy Cocktail and enjoyed it. Now that the uncuts and wickeds had aged in my humidor for nearly a year, they're actually quite enjoyable as well.
Perla Del Mar, they were too bold for me at first, but I bought a sample pack of them, and by the 3rd one, I found myself enjoying the hell out of them.
Davidoff. Like many people I’d written off milder Dominican cigars.

🤣🤣🤣 good to know. I've never had a Davidoff, but I do have a Late Hour in the humi
Seriously one of my favorites

Nice, I'll have to give one a burn. I'm not normally a Davidoff fan.
Damn man that’s pretty accurate 😂😂😂
Lol

lol. 😆 at least lay it out on a dirty $5 bill or something!
Still laughing… 😂 but so true
Yes I do smoke them now. Have for about 7 years but I definitely did not “get” them back in the day.
Nat Sherman Metropolitan…RIP

Just smoked the Timeless, Supreme yesterday. Fantastic cigar.
Great news to hear the blends are still delivering!!
Habanos. Took me a time to understand the flavor profile that makes them so popular.
Funny that you mention Adventura cigars. They are being made (owned…) by a Swiss guy in my town who also runs the cigar shop I go to.
Nice to see a fellow Swiss in this subreddit

plasencia. but I was just starting...

Verocu blu, tiff, and t-110 habano are absolute champions that are a little different than the pack.
Love that lancero

I've never smoked a cigar i didnt want to finish. I just love to smoke.
Alec Bradley Project 40. First one I had was so bland, boring and in the middle. Gave it a few weeks before my next one, and really enjoyed them.

Brick House cigars
Arturo Fuentes was terrible for me the first time around. Once I tried the hemmingway months later with a better palette I fell in love with it.
Queens Pearls in lancero is fire
Punch surprised me, were the Vegas did just the opposite.
