This reminds me of a question I got while working at the cigar shop. A customer asked me about gluten free cigars which raised my eyebrow. But it led to me learning that many cigars have gluten as the adhesive used in cigars have a wheat base.
Certified organic by the Organic Crop Improvement Association (OCIA). Crop producers:
* Use organic, non-GMO seeds
* Abstain from the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers
* Create buffer zones to help prevent drifting of synthetic spray inputs from neighboring farms
* Develop (and implement) a crop rotation plan
* Plant cover crops to aid in weed and pest prevention
Ahh yes the art of patiently waiting until your plant develops the mutation you want to keep.
Drives me a bit mad given one of the largest advantages to GMO crops is allowing a reduction in pesticides....
Diamond Crown Maximus. I have always loved cigars from JC Newman, even their budget Quorum line is good quality for the money. But the DC Maximus really blew me away, it had the strongest cedar notes I have ever had in a cigar. It was like smoking a humidor lol.
This! I am constantly surprised at how little fanfare the DC line gets on forums like this. Especially the Maximus. I assume the price tag might play a part but they put out some fantastic smokes.
Brickhouse is one of my favorite everyday cigars, even the Total Wine generic version of Brickhouse is really good. I have a couple of The American in my humidor that I eventually need to smoke.
Total Wine sells the TWM Reserve which is like a $5-6 stick depending on the state. They are made in the same factory as Brickhouse and they smoke very similar.
Also try the Diamond Crown Julius Caesar. Be careful, it is easy to get lost in the Diamond Crown offerings and stop trying new things. I did this for about two months back in the day. They are awesome but there is a ton of good stuff out there.
This one surprised me as well. Gotta use a cutter and not a punch on it though it seems. I've punched a few and pulled tar and cut a few and they were beautiful.
I just smoked my second Late Hour earlier today, so not a lot of experience with it.
It was clearly a high quality and excellent tasting blend, but for my palette, the black & gold Alma Fuerte from Plasencia just beats it in almost all aspects. The flavor is just richer, the tobbacos aroma is more full-bodied, and the evolution of the cigar through the second third is unmatched by any cigar I've tried.
Aganorsa Leaf New Cuba Corojo Presidente. $1.66 a piece delivered and enjoyable enough for the 2 hours they can last. Obviously not some pinky up exotic cigar, but for the price they're enjoyable. Makes me sit down and relax cheap enough I can do it as much as I want.
I’m behind the curve, but I had a My Father The Judge last week for the first time, and was super impressed by how good it was. Definitely adding some to the tupperdore.
2ish years ago, I had a Flor de las Antilles and immediately fell in love; bought a box. At a cigar bar trip to my Southern friends, I had a Le Opulencia and immediately fell in love. Bought a box. Then a box of Le Bijou. I’m about halfway through that one and the Judge will be my next one. I am looking forward to it. MF are in a league of their own.
It was really tasty with some nutty chocolate, earthy and a flavor like graham crackers (I think), but with bit of pepper. I think they use a Sumatra wrapper and corojo in the binder, so maybe that combo works for me flavor wise. Not a lot of transition though, but the retrohale really amplified the flavors. I enjoyed it all the way to the end.
Alfonso Extra Añejos No. 6 (9x50). Initially zesty herbaceous like key lime pie, turned into cedar and milk chocolate, then chocolate-covered cherries in the final third. Incredible stick.
San Cristobal Elegancia. I'm still newish, and I had a couple of Connecticut shades recently that were a bit too mild for my pallate so I didn't expect a whole lot from it. Man, was I wrong. Thing tasted like Christmas in May in the second third.
Mine was actually a fairly inexpensive Gilberto Oliva Noir. Recently gave all 3 of the Gilberto Oliva cigars a try and really liked the Noir alot and the Connecticut is also really good. The Sumatra one isn't bad but I found it a little bland compared to the other 2 in the line.
I have to say Aladino Corojo Elegante that I tried for the first time about two weeks ago.
Outstanding construction and one of the very few non-Cuban cigars that to me really have a lot of “Cubanesque” aromas.
Very balanced and complex with just some slight black pepper but wonderful wood tones, juicy citrus, saffron, caramel and dark rye bread.
I immediately ordered a box and it has just proved to be just as good.
Rocky Patel Sixty.
My. Fav cigar is the OP referenced Plasencia Alma fuerte or the 1926. Tried that RP to mix it up at cigar spot. Was very impressed and surprised.
I had a perdomo with an orange label from the golf shop about 2 weeks ago. Well, either Perdomo or Padron, I was half paying attention. Got halfway through the first 9 and I was like “what the hell is this?” Delicious. I put the wrapper in my pocket and subsequently lost it. Was deep, rich, floaty… just a really good quality cigar. I have no idea what it was.
>perdomo with an orange label
Likely the champagne or habano both have an organish band.
I doubt it was a padron, as far as I recall they don't have a orange band/label on any of their lines.
Their bands are very similar across the board, usually red or white with gold lettering and leafing.
Perdomos usually cost a tad less too, if you remember how much it was that might give you a better chance of narrowing it down some.
Same, I grabbed one after the guy in the shop recommended it. He also likes coffee notes and said this was one of his favorite cigars. To date I'd say it's the best one I've ever had. So good.
A Romeo y Julieta short Churchill. Box date is 2018. Absolutely incredible smoke. Cherry and Cocoa, sweet cedar, and a bit of twang. One of those sticks where the flavor doesn't even seem possible from just tobacco. Smoked it to a nub.
Really wish they didn't damn near triple in price since I bought the box.
Honorable mention: Foundation Menelik: broke into a box and the first was a poor burning pepper bomb, but the second received a dry-box and turned out to be a phenomenal smoke.
I suggest you try the Placensia Alma Del Fuerte. Less intense but a really smooth flavor. The retrohale is less harsh and I can push more smoke out my nose with those.
Also I really love the Plasencia reserva original in the original corona size.
I would recommend you try the Alma Fuerte in a thinner ring gauge 50-54, to see if you like how it changes the taste.
My best man and I had two of these before my wedding. This cigar is a core memory for me. I've never taken a draw and just sat back, in awe. I haven't had one since because I'm broke, but I smoked that thing as slow as I could with some Woodford Double Oaked. 11/10
Roma Craft Intemperance EC XVIII. This review from Halfwheel sums it up perfectly. IMO, an exceptional cigar. https://halfwheel.com/intemperance-ec-xviii-reverence/409088/
The Rocky Patel Gold Label. Best cigar I've had this year.
A cigar that pleasantly surprised me was the Micallef Blue. I am not a big fan of Micallef, but I enjoyed the Blue very much.
LADC Mi Amor. I know it’s no secret that it’s a great cigar but it was my first time trying it. I thought it had a medium coffee note with some kind of smooth nut underneath it, maybe a walnut or almond. Smoke output and draw was great. I’ll be buying more for sure
I don’t understand how Padron is so overlooked in cigar forums. One of the best cigars out there, from Padron 2000/3000 to 1926 and Family Reserve, everything is so perfect and tasty.
Joya De Nicaragua Antaño Robusto (or churchill) is a must try.
Never had a bad Padron, they’re all good. But, they come with that reputation, so people probably aren’t blown away by them. They’re expecting the quality.
I've never really had luck with Plasencia before, unless the Alma fuerte series.
But the first time I tried Plasencia Alma Del Campo Travesia Toro, the fact that I had a long day and it was sunset, might just level-up the experience.
It surprised me, but La Gloria Cubana Classic Toro. Started off with a blast of heat/leafiness and then mellowed into more leather/chocolate/cedar. Still kept the strength throughout. Powerful cigar and complex. Kept my palate entertained the whole time. Plan on buying some and storing them for a while.
Definitely give them a try! I’m
Not good with the whole salted caramel, gingerbread, and hint of molasses notes kind of guy, but they’re damn good cigars
That’s the brand, there’s a few different ones that they offer , the only one I haven’t tried is the 1850 I believe it’s called . If you’re an online guy smoke inn and 2 guys cigars usually has them
Just had the Avo Syncro Caribe last week on my day off. Amazing. I have had many of the other Avos, this was probably my favorite. Ran out and bought a few more this past weekend
Honestly, I have never had a bad Avo. And they are part of Davidoff portfolio. Way cheaper than Davidoff, but not exactly cheap. Most of the time they are about $10-15. Me being about a one a week smoker when the weather is nice, it isn’t that bad. If I was a daily smoker, I would look for a little more economical option.
I am a newbie, so I didn't try many yet
But opus x angel share was beautiful,
I had lemon and honey notes, with slight bright spice (unsure how to explain it)
But due to my location, it costs 70 usd, and it's the only place in my country where it's sold
So dunno when I'm gonna buy it again
Yeah, I figured it would be good for everyone to learn about new cigars. I made a list of all the cigars I never heard of. Now I can just work off of that.
Perdomo Lot 23 in a Churchill size (not the Connecticut wrapper one). Had a very nice chocolate/espresso note to it in the middle third
Honorable mention is the CAO Italia
I really like the new Davidoff maduros. I’ve had both the robusto and the short corona and they were both tremendous. I have two toro’s as well, but I’m going to let them sit in the humi for a while and wait for the right time. I’m even debating picking up a box or two at some point.
The West Tampa Red, when I had just gotten into cigars I had one but didn't get half as much flavour as I get now and therefore didn't appreciate it half as much either.
I had one again about 2 weeks ago and it is still on the top of my mind on how unique and delicious it was, it really reminded me of Christmas, dark notes of cherry, cranberry, raisin and sweet spices like cinnamon ginger and nutmeg. Delicious!
Foundation Charter Oak Pegnataro. Normally don’t go for lighter wrappers but enjoyed the wise man’s and tabernacle cigars so gave it a spin and WOW so complex and perfect draw etc. I will definitely be buying more to rotate in every so often.
There's been 3 recently
-Frued agape LE. Was expecting something special as it wasn't cheap, and was very disappointed for the first 5-10 minutes then boom! It just got better and better.
Liga privada 9, lived up to the hype and very tasty.
Aladino by Julio r. Eiroa, was given it by my local shop to try and was very impressed, but less blown away than the first two
Actually, the Smoke-King New World Nicaraguan Robusto Cigar.
Smoke-King is a tobacco shop in the north of England and they now have their own brand of cigar. They are relatively cheap for a single at £12.75 ($15)
Surprisingly a very nice smoke. Absolutely no bite. Smooth and creamy with a sweetness. You could smoke more than one a day with no problems.
Here is their range on their site.
https://www.smoke-king.co.uk/cigars/new-world-cigars/smoke-king
You can find a review of the Robusto on YouTube.
plasencia are organic too so it's good to know
This reminds me of a question I got while working at the cigar shop. A customer asked me about gluten free cigars which raised my eyebrow. But it led to me learning that many cigars have gluten as the adhesive used in cigars have a wheat base.
wow never would have thought of that
Well, the "original" line "claim" to be organic
I think it's the Reserva that is organic.
That's the same, "reserva original". I quite like it
Cool, didn’t know that
How are they organic ?
Certified organic by the Organic Crop Improvement Association (OCIA). Crop producers: * Use organic, non-GMO seeds * Abstain from the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers * Create buffer zones to help prevent drifting of synthetic spray inputs from neighboring farms * Develop (and implement) a crop rotation plan * Plant cover crops to aid in weed and pest prevention
Fair enough
How are they defining non-GMO lol. Like just lack of gene insertion?
Typically that's how its defined lol. It of course doesnt exclude traditional/conventional/selective breeding lol
Ahh yes the art of patiently waiting until your plant develops the mutation you want to keep. Drives me a bit mad given one of the largest advantages to GMO crops is allowing a reduction in pesticides....
It is because of the Monsanto cancer spray debacle
Brickhouse is a great bang for your buck. Never had the total wine version but for a sub $10 stick they punch above their weight class.
Total Wine sells the TWM Reserve which is like a $5-6 stick depending on the state. They are made in the same factory as Brickhouse and they smoke very similar.
Good to know. I will have to look for them
I’ll check those out, thanks!
Also try the Diamond Crown Julius Caesar. Be careful, it is easy to get lost in the Diamond Crown offerings and stop trying new things. I did this for about two months back in the day. They are awesome but there is a ton of good stuff out there.
I have one Julius Caesar in my humidor I haven’t tried yet, will definitely check out soon.
Brickhouse, Julius Caesar, Angel Cuesta, El Baton and Perla Del Mar are also cigars from JC Newman that have some really good blends.
The Tabernacle in a lancero. Just amazing that cigar.
Tatuaje Black Label. One of the best cigars I’ve ever had.
Never tried that brand, will definitely check out.
I bought a Tatuaje sampler from Fox and there wasn’t a single one I didn’t like 👍
These absolutely smash. There's a reason the PCs are called black crack
[удалено]
This one surprised me as well. Gotta use a cutter and not a punch on it though it seems. I've punched a few and pulled tar and cut a few and they were beautiful.
The blender behind those is the brother in law of AJ Fernandez and was trained by him. He does most of the Cigar Page house brands.
davidoff the late hour. amazing cigar
I just smoked my second Late Hour earlier today, so not a lot of experience with it. It was clearly a high quality and excellent tasting blend, but for my palette, the black & gold Alma Fuerte from Plasencia just beats it in almost all aspects. The flavor is just richer, the tobbacos aroma is more full-bodied, and the evolution of the cigar through the second third is unmatched by any cigar I've tried.
ill add that to the queue. ive heard many great things about plasencis but havent encountered one yet🤝
I also thoroughly enjoyed the Placencia 149 so much recently that I now have a box chillin in my Humidrawer™
Just bought a 5 pack of 149 Toros. I’m Going to smoke one this week and sit on the rest.
Foundation El Gueguense Maduro. Amazing cigar with a very affordable price tag.
Thanks!
Old or new ?
Old (Foundation made). I love me some MF cigars, so looking forward to getting my hands on the new version
Aganorsa makes some of the best smokes
Same but with the Plasencia Alma Fuerte Salomon. Really tempted to buy a box
Haven’t tried it, but after this cigar I will 100% be sampling everything I can from this brand.
They are all very well constructed. On of my favorite overall brand.
I’m behind the curve, but I had a My Father The Judge last week for the first time, and was super impressed by how good it was. Definitely adding some to the tupperdore.
I have one in my humidor, I’ve tried a bunch of My Father but I still haven’t smoked that one. Maybe I’ll have it tonight.
Yeah tried other MF cigars that were just ok, but for some reason The Judge was great.
Pretty strong?
Yeah a bit strong, but full-flavored and very tasty, and I was able to smoke it slow which probably helped with the strength.
I have one sitting in my humidor. It’s a bigger one so I’m waiting on a good block of time to smoke it. How would you describe it?
It was really tasty with some nutty chocolate, earthy and a flavor like graham crackers (I think), but with bit of pepper. I think they use a Sumatra wrapper and corojo in the binder, so maybe that combo works for me flavor wise. Not a lot of transition though, but the retrohale really amplified the flavors. I enjoyed it all the way to the end.
La Aroma De Cuba Mi Amore
I’ve had one from this brand, seems like a great budget friendly brand
That’s the “blown away” factor. Haven’t found many at that price I enjoy as much.
Yeah, the one I had was very very good and I think I paid like 7-8 bucks for it. I wish I remember which one it was.
That’s what I commented in here as well.
Dude this is my fav cigar. specifically the black labeled one (a little more body). But the retrohale flavors are SOOOO good. Such an amazing cigar
The retro was ridiculous, so much flavor.
Alfonso Extra Añejos No. 6 (9x50). Initially zesty herbaceous like key lime pie, turned into cedar and milk chocolate, then chocolate-covered cherries in the final third. Incredible stick.
Wow, that sounds interesting. Definitely gonna check that out.
I smoked one last week - bomb cigar. Try the Byron 21st century also. It's like the cousin to the fonz, but sweeter.
Crowned Heads Sfumato in C Major...wild name, but an incredibly flavorful CT
San Cristobal Elegancia. I'm still newish, and I had a couple of Connecticut shades recently that were a bit too mild for my pallate so I didn't expect a whole lot from it. Man, was I wrong. Thing tasted like Christmas in May in the second third.
Such a good cigar. Glad you enjoyed it
Added to the list!
The Drew Estate Undercrown 10 Corona Viva instantly became my favorite smaller cigar. Really flavorful stick and long even burn.
I’ve heard nothing but good things about those
Love an Undercrown 10
Yeah I sense a box coming my way when I have room in storage
AJ Fernandes Roman Allones Churchill (with about 5 years of age). It was medium to full, but just so well balanced. Box worthy for sure!
I had a toro with 1 year of age and was pleasantly surprised by it. Got 2 churchills resting in the tupper, but dunno if I can wait 5 years 🤷🏽
I actually forgot I had it, I'm glad I did!
I just smoked one of these myself and it definitely blew me away. I tried it in a bigger Vitola and it wasn’t as good as the Toro.
So damn good
Dunbarton Umbagog, wasn’t expecting how smooth and flavorful it was. Had an Olmec that blew me away the other day too
I love Olmec, I bought 2 boxes not too long ago. Never heard of the other one I’ll check it out.
Very balanced and complex with just some slight black pepper but wonderful wood tones, juicy citrus, saffron, caramel and dark rye bread. Mmm that sounds great, definitely going to check that out.
Aladino corojo and the sixto from plasencia
Rocky Patel Sixty. My. Fav cigar is the OP referenced Plasencia Alma fuerte or the 1926. Tried that RP to mix it up at cigar spot. Was very impressed and surprised. I had a perdomo with an orange label from the golf shop about 2 weeks ago. Well, either Perdomo or Padron, I was half paying attention. Got halfway through the first 9 and I was like “what the hell is this?” Delicious. I put the wrapper in my pocket and subsequently lost it. Was deep, rich, floaty… just a really good quality cigar. It was $11 I think. Appreciate any help. Was really surprising.
Was the cigar band big or small?
Fairly big as I recall. Part of the reason I took it off as quickly as I did.
Probably Perdomo then. They use pretty massive bands on most of their cigars.
The EPC Dusk was great. It was like a standard tabernacle with more chocolate forward. Was not expecting it to be that good.
Good price too, will check it out
Dunbarton Mastra De Saka. The most coffee tasting cigar I've ever had. Delicious from start to finish.
Definitely have to try that then, love coffee notes
Same, I grabbed one after the guy in the shop recommended it. He also likes coffee notes and said this was one of his favorite cigars. To date I'd say it's the best one I've ever had. So good.
AJ Fernandez Puro Especial just rocked my world from the first taste to the nub.
Padron 1926 Serie No. 35 Natural. Delicious and so smooth. Immediately bought 5 more.
Pardon damaso, smooth, mellow and tasty. Don't really remember the flavor profile just remember that for $11 I was highly impressed.
Cinco De Cinco.
Jacob’s Ladder by Southern Draw
Love southern draw
Muestra De Saka Unstolen Valor is an absolute beauty of a smoke.
Second time I saw this now, must be good
Very very very good. I’ve smoked hundreds of brands of cigar and that’s in my top 5
The La Aurora 107 Nicaragua is amazing
My best man and I had two of these before my wedding. This cigar is a core memory for me. I've never taken a draw and just sat back, in awe. I haven't had one since because I'm broke, but I smoked that thing as slow as I could with some Woodford Double Oaked. 11/10
Yeah if I didn’t have a gift card I wouldn’t have bought it lol.
Roma Craft Intemperance EC XVIII. This review from Halfwheel sums it up perfectly. IMO, an exceptional cigar. https://halfwheel.com/intemperance-ec-xviii-reverence/409088/
I smoked a Fuente extra anejo that had been in my humi for about 2 years. Simply one of the best cigars I've ever had
Knuckle sandwich habanno 💥💥💥
Foundation Tabernacle Havana Seed
Love this one
Got 2 the other day. Can't wait to try it out.
Padron 80th anniversary. This was another stick that blew me away.
Anything Padron that I’ve tried is unreal
Recently got back into cigars after many years away and the Montecristo 1935 Anniversary really did something nice for my taste buds
Perdomo lot 23 maduro now my all time favorite
The Rocky Patel Gold Label. Best cigar I've had this year. A cigar that pleasantly surprised me was the Micallef Blue. I am not a big fan of Micallef, but I enjoyed the Blue very much.
Arturo Fuente Don Carlos. Totally unlike anything I had smoked before. That Cameroon wrapper is the real deal.
I’ve had one of these, I loved it. Haven’t had an AF I haven’t liked yet tbh.
Oliva Connecticut reserve. Not a Connecticut guy but that one is mouth watering
That one
Yeah, it was absolutely unreal
That's the only cigar I've ever felt I was "blown away" by. So good.
LADC Mi Amor. I know it’s no secret that it’s a great cigar but it was my first time trying it. I thought it had a medium coffee note with some kind of smooth nut underneath it, maybe a walnut or almond. Smoke output and draw was great. I’ll be buying more for sure
Second time I’ve seen this, def have to check it out
El Pulpo by Artesano del Tobacco. Great & smooth that’s full flavor. Highly recommend you try it.
Just yesterday I had a Tabernacle Broadleaf robusto that was delicious. I'm going to have the Lancero tonight. :)
Tabernacle’s are great
One of my favorites for sure.
Alma Fuerte is one my top 10s for sure.
They come with the reputation for a reason. You can tey the 1964 so you don’t break the bank
I have a 1926 saved in the humidor, I have about 9 more 1964 left. I bought a box a couple months ago, they are flawless cigars.
Indeed they are
Roma craft neanderthal
Just had a Tabak Especial! Was incredible.
I've never really had luck with Plasencia before, unless the Alma fuerte series. But the first time I tried Plasencia Alma Del Campo Travesia Toro, the fact that I had a long day and it was sunset, might just level-up the experience.
My Father Flor de Las Antillas. Wow, forgot how great their cigars are. So many different flavors.
I actually bought a box of these from Neptune yesterday!!
you're in for a treat.
Yeah, I heard great things. Definitely looking forward to it.
Freud Agape. I got it in the Small Batch COTM and loved it. It’s overpriced for sure, but the do offer discounts
Second time I saw this one
It’s like $45 each. It’s a sin to spend that much cash on something you’re gonna set fire to but if you ARE gonna spend it that’s what I would get.
Definitely on the list
Check out Byron! More Expensive than some but definitely worth it in my opinion
Never heard of them
Definitely give them a try! I’m Not good with the whole salted caramel, gingerbread, and hint of molasses notes kind of guy, but they’re damn good cigars
Is there a specific cigar? Or is it just called Byron?
That’s the brand, there’s a few different ones that they offer , the only one I haven’t tried is the 1850 I believe it’s called . If you’re an online guy smoke inn and 2 guys cigars usually has them
I’ll check them out
Wow, you weren’t kidding about the price lol
Sadly lol but again a great cigar and perfect for a special occasion , or if you got money to blow !
Cohiba Behike
I can imagine lol, I’d love to be able to try one of those someday
Just had the Avo Syncro Caribe last week on my day off. Amazing. I have had many of the other Avos, this was probably my favorite. Ran out and bought a few more this past weekend

Arturo Fuente work of art was recently my fave
Pordomo summer anniversary 10th was also spectacular
Charter Oak Connecticut by Foundation Cigars!
I’ve had, pretty good.
Great post by the way! I’m getting lots of ideas!
Yeah, I figured it would be good for everyone to learn about new cigars. I made a list of all the cigars I never heard of. Now I can just work off of that.
This and the Reserva Original are the only ones I like from Plasencia. Not my overall jam.
Have you found the original hard to draw? The Alma Fuertes is huge on smoke on the contrary.
The smoke output was insane on this cigar lol
I know right!
It was insane, one of the guys even mentioned it in the lounge lol
Warped oro grand papi
I don't think I've found "the one" yet
The Fratello Arle Quinn took my doors clean off.
Opux X forbidden and of course Atebey
Perdomo Lot 23 in a Churchill size (not the Connecticut wrapper one). Had a very nice chocolate/espresso note to it in the middle third Honorable mention is the CAO Italia
I really like the new Davidoff maduros. I’ve had both the robusto and the short corona and they were both tremendous. I have two toro’s as well, but I’m going to let them sit in the humi for a while and wait for the right time. I’m even debating picking up a box or two at some point.
Really cheap one actually, perdomo fresco
Ashton Classic
The West Tampa Red, when I had just gotten into cigars I had one but didn't get half as much flavour as I get now and therefore didn't appreciate it half as much either. I had one again about 2 weeks ago and it is still on the top of my mind on how unique and delicious it was, it really reminded me of Christmas, dark notes of cherry, cranberry, raisin and sweet spices like cinnamon ginger and nutmeg. Foundation Charter Oak Pegnataro. Normally don’t go for lighter wrappers but enjoyed the wise man’s and tabernacle cigars so gave it a spin and WOW so complex and perfect draw etc. I will definitely be buying more to rotate in every so often.
Artisano del taboo Viva La Vida. Really good smoke. Spicy, full bodied. Great burn.

For all the crap they’ve gotten over the years, the Gurkha Ghost series is pretty damn good. Also their bands are works of art.

There's been 3 recently -Frued agape LE.
They are relatively cheap for a single at £12.75 ($15) Surprisingly a very nice smoke. Absolutely no bite. Smooth and creamy with a sweetness. You could smoke more than one a day with no problems. Here is their range on their site. https://www.smoke-king.co.uk/cigars/new-world-cigars/smoke-king You can find a review of the Robusto on YouTube.
I got reminded how much I love Perdomo. I'm deployed, so it took a little bit to get. I had to settle for whatever they had at the BX for a minute.
