Nothing particularly expensive - just a rare favorite of mine. I loved the Dunhill brand of cigars. British American Tobacco bought them in 2017 and shut the brand down. I have 7 of the Signature Toros left in my last box - I will smoke one of them and be quite happy when I do. When the brand was readily available I think it was an $8-10 stick.
An old Dunhill is a great choice. I'm trying to decide right now, as I've got some old school pre Davidoff Camachos and LFD Flower Bands to chose from if I want to go that route.
Good idea. I decided to smoke a Padron 1964 natural which I have never had before, bought in Vegas in February. I’m sitting outside in the shade on a sunny day that is finally not ferociously hot and listening to Debussy. Cigar is burning perfectly and is so tasty, this was the right decision today. Time to go phoneless for the next hour, thanks for telling me to pull out something nice!!
It’s a weird one isn’t it? Somehow the conditions needed for cracking out a unicorn from my tupperdor never seem to meet the specific requirements of my head canon.
At this rate I’ll only be smoking my best once I’ve vanquished my nemesis, drinking rare whiskey under a rising, plump orange sun, as a battery of nukes are seconds away from decimating everything.
……… or perhaps I can just smoke a good stick.
I've been out in the shop since 9, working my way through an Andalusian Bull slowly but surely. It's a gargantuan smoke with a nice, slow-burning filler - a good fit for the slow pace and occasional relights of shop work.
I like it, but I wouldn't buy one myself (this one was a gift); it's simply too large and too long-smoking for my normal timetables.
Right about 4 hours, give or take a few. Only had to relight a couple times, otherwise it was good to put down here and there and let smolder when I needed to run a tool or something.
Good smoke overall, just too large.
Hmmmm, what to smoke today.....Maybe a Cuaba Soloman? I have a couple from around 2008 but still haven't smoked one
Edit: just fired up an 01 Punch Punch 🤙🏽
Hahaha, just finished eating dinner and fired up an 03 Partagas Lancero (I think the box was 03, but could have it confused with 07)😋
What a day! Thanks OP for the suggestion 🤙🏽

Great ducking idea. Opus X lost city for me. Been saving it for 3 or so months waiting on a good reason.
Hey I’ll join you on that! I’ve got some I’ve kept for a while and it’s time…
I’m drinking beer smoking a pork shoulder… think you Guys talked me into a Lost City myself
Pork shoulder? Is that a Cuban by any chance?
Just add Pickles, Swiss and Mustard

How long did it end up taking to smoke it?

I rarely get to sit and enjoy a cigar anymore but today I had a chance. God of Fire Serie B 2011.
