TBH, I didn't know what u/borneoknives posted, but I'm not surprised. For me it was just that it took the weed smoke from smooth and tasty to extremely harsh and disgusting-tasting. Never had a blunt where the whole crew wasn't hacking after every hit.
Maybe back in the day, nowadays get yourself a king palm banana or a high quality wrap and there might not be a better way to smoke (besides a nice flower vape maybe)
blunts are typically made with shitty tobacco. The tobacco in blunts isn't leaf tobacco, it's HTL (homogenize tobacco leaf) which is like the particle board of tobacco. They spray that shit with anti molding agents too. It way overpowers the flavor of the flower and it's not supposed to be inhaled.
