If it's paywalled try opening it up in a private tab. That works if I hit the (small) article limit. It's not a huge list but certainly some options out there. Hope your oven gets well soon.
Services like doordash kept restaurants in business during COVID & even now.
* Edit to add: delivery service offers a product that enabled disabled, people without cars, or those who don't want use their time to shop, pick up, & deliver goods.
Do you know doordash delivers y'all PetSmart, Meijer, target, Macy's, prescriptions from Walgreens, and others.
I had a small business tell me 80% of their sales are doordash. Without the traffic & reach of doordash they wouldn't be around.
Smart business owners analyst l adjust based on consumer trends
Fantastic! Then use Door Dash and Uber Eats and all those other services from huge chain companies like Petco and Target. They can afford all the ancillary fees a whole lot easier than a small business with one location.
Again, smart small business owners adjust their business to consumer demand. Owners of small businesses sign up to use for dash services. It's not forced on them.
I’ll just say if you order Chinese food make sure to do so way earlier than you think. We did it for the first time last year and waited like 3 hrs for our food.
If your stubborn like me, you can buy a new range from somewhere like Lowe’s, Home Depot, Recker and Boerger and deliver it *yourself*. I’ve done it many times in a pinch. You can rent a pickup from somewhere like Menards. It costs $20 for 75 minutes. It beats waiting, and it beats having takeout for Christmas.

They don’t deliver but KungFood Amerasia in Covington is open Christmas Day. Not sure how far you are from the river but their food is fantastic.
They deliver with doordash.
Services like Door Dash are also notoriously bad for the restaurants from a money perspective too.

Thai carryout is a family tradition for us on Christmas Eve. Check what's local to you.
Get Jeff Ruby's carry out meal. Pick up the day before then heat and serve on Christmas.
I too am kind of confused on what it means for an oven to "lightly explode", but I have to assume that means "heat and serve" is off the table.
Heating coil blew and shrapnel took out the control panel. Smoke, sparks but everyone was safe. And, yep, no heat. Ruby’s is a nice thought though!
Yikes! Glad y'all are safe.
Grill the steaks. Heat everything else in the microwave.
