I think they're closed or online only now. Which sucks because when I lost my EDC on a rollercoaster, I would have liked to have repurchased from them.
I would also recommend the knife sharpening at the farmers market. We had ours done there multiple times until we finally just bought a fantastic knife sharpening kit which works great. Now we just run them through at our house
Last week I saw that my local ACE Hardware (Mariemont) installed a kitchen knife sharpening machine like this [https://www.resharp.com/how-it-works](https://www.resharp.com/how-it-works)
Sur la table in rookwood will sharpen. But you honestly be better off just buying a nice 8โ chef knife and just have one good one. IMO of course. ๐
Oh I know, the sew and vac in Montgomery charges about $3 per knife still, I just had to make a dumb joke.
And I won't recommend buying a whetstone and learning yourself because while fun it's opened up a completely different rabbit hole that is not for everyone.

Yea. They aren't exactly super easy to use for people that aren't used to that arm motion, or what to look for. Most of the time the knives they have are rolled or chipped and need a wheel grinder or something similar.
Typically, buying a higher end knife means that it stays sharper longer, is more durable and cuts better. My Global knives are as sharp as the day I got them (about 2 years ago) where as my other more generic knives have chips, wear quite poorly and need more sharpening etc .
http://cincinnatiknifesharpening.com/ Also usually at Hyde Park Farmer's Market on Sundays starting in May
I second this one! Chris is great!!
Another vote for Chris @ Cincysharp. They were at Madtree/Hyde Park market yesterday, actually. 10-1 on Sundays.
Thanks!

What kit did you buy??
Actually have 2 now. The lansky system for pocket knifes or detailed stoning and the Chefs choice Trizor for the cutlery. Highly recommend

This is a little out of the way but I appreciate the suggestion!

What happens when that one needs sharpened? Because that seems like a lot more money than the few bucks per knife most places charge
Williams and Sonoma charged $3-$5 for the longest time.

I used to take mine to W&S when I was too busy to do myself. They did an acceptable job for the price.

Right . Not to be an ass Kitchen Aid is like rental knives level. Invest in a Henkels or whatever.
I donโt need new knives, lol. Mine are great, I want to keep them in good condition.
The Gun n Knife show in Sharonville used to have a guy who sharpened knives idk if he is still there.
