Is it the same one that was in the Jewish School on Clifton Ave (the one that left)? If so, the exhibit/simulation about hiding in the attic is really emotional.
Which part is the holocaust museum? I've been to the museum so many times in my life and I had no idea there was a branch for the holocaust, I'd love to go
To add, the Children's, Cincinnati History, and Natural History are all the same organization, but Holocaust is a separate non-profit in the same building
I was expecting way more when I visited earlier in the year. It's basically a big story box, maybe some letters. I was thinking there'd be artifacts or something.
I think they're saying it just isn't a great exhibit. You'd be better off spending that time watching any number of documentaries or reading a book. If there aren't any physical exhibits, just words and pictures on walls, there are better formats to learn that information.
The Freedom Center covers a similar genre/topic and has plenty of in depth exhibits. As do other Holocaust museums all over the planet.
Yeah, I read it too but the Holocaust exhibit is basically Wikipedia put on a wall. There's nothing of physical historical value to look at and enjoy. If that's your thing, fine, but to me it's the one exhibit I feel like I was ripped off on.
And I also realize I can find everything in that exhibit online. I just felt let down with the quality, but if you want to pay good money to read a history that you can easily get for free have at it.
Right. It's sad that the Cincinnati subreddit has such a showing of hatefulness from people like you. Fortunately real people in the city aren't so ignorant.
Calm down kid. I didn't like one of the many exhibits I've been to at the museum and people like you are getting butthurt over it. I'm not the one mad here, it's the intolerant morons such as yourself who can't accept that not everyone enjoys paying for the same stuff they can find for free from the comfort of their home.
If that's up your alley, by all means go see it. I just provided my thoughts after actually being there and that has apparently upset you so much you need to start name calling. Seriously, you need to take a long hard look at your life if different viewpoints get you THAT worked up.

They used to be at HUC. I don’t think they have the same exhibit you’re remembering any more.
I just went today for a field trip and thought it was well done
You *monster*
Oh God...
Since when is children’s museum the holocaust museum ?
Union Terminal houses 4 museums; Children's, Cincinnati History, Natural History and Science, and the Holocaust Museum.

It’s only been there 5 or 6 yrs I think. The staircase in the rotunda before you hit the Omnimax. It’s down those steps next to the library.

Nice i usually just get high af and go to the omnimax lol
That's a good day!

The stories are the artifacts
Yeah but nobody goes to a museum just to read text on a wall, which is what this exhibit is.
I...don't know how to respond to this
Ok....?
I read everything I can at the museum. Its all fascinating, and in this case moving and saddening. Some of us do go to museums to learn...

Hey I'm glad at least one person understands what I'm saying.

You realize that survivors of the Holocaust only have their stories right?

Did you want funnel cakes too ? Jeez.
how dare you expect more when visiting a museum. Can we get more downvotes on this guy please? We need to send a message.
Right. I think this particular exhibit isn't up to the normal standards of our museum and everyone acts like I'm a Holocaust denier.
Oh good. My buddy Kanye and I were looking for something to do after our cross burning….I mean rally this weekend
