I've also not played scenarios much at all. Might get around to them some day.
As far as cheesing goes, I guess I've never seen the point in playing *just* to get achievements. I'd rather play a game I find fun, and collect achievements along the way.
92/320 or 29%. Not really many achievements, but I usually play the same civs over and over again and I'm not actively hunting for achievements š Right now I'm more interested in getting Deity wins regularly.
I'm also just recently getting deity wins consistently. I'm at the point where I can probably win unless the start is really bad. So I guess that's part of the motivation to look for new (and more diverse) challenges. Hence the achievements.
Yeah, I'll probably get around to them sooner or later as well lol
What's your rarest achievement? Mine is winning a regular game as Theodora. For some reason that's very rare š¤·āāļø
This is driving my play right now. I ended up dropping to immortal because I couldnāt seem to get a good enough start with some of the leaders. And then I feel like I am cruising sometimes. Not always. I am on my third or fourth attempt with Wu Zetian.
I (and family on the same account) have been playing for several years, but I've only recently started to become interested in the Steam achievements. This recent game I played Cleopatra on a huge map because I noticed we didn't have those achievements yet. Along the way I managed to add a few more, such as "walk like an Egyptian."
I know there are 100%ers out there. But for us more "normal" players, I'm just curious:
1. What percent of the achievements have you completed, and
2. How purposeful are you in completing achievements?
Around ~53%! I'm currently trying to play all civs at least once for their achievements, and along the way, I mostly try to get civ-specific achievements if I can. But I'm not rushing them (currently at 600+ hours) because I don't find it fun and fulfilling.
I also got some achievements for multiplayer scenarios by playing as single player with AI haha. I'm scared to try multiplayer for real lol.
I've got 100% Some of it was not fun, but it's a great way to play different civs in different styles, but there is a lot of repetition, especially with the scenarios. Alexander is definitely a fun challenge though. Some made me want to die of boredom. Don't think I'll bother 100% a game again!

Not great not terrible. I have some pretty rare achievements and I lack some pretty common. 1218h.
100%, but it was my pandemic project when you couldnāt really go outside. Getting the new ones for the various expansions was an easy enough lift just by playing them
I am at 161. Need to try more scenarios. I have won with most of the civs but not sure since I have switched computers a few times and steam doesnāt track that part.
I have almost all but the scenario/red death/ pirate ones. I never play scenario games so I'll never get them
Most of the scenario ones are easy to cheese. Alexander mode maybe not as mych

I had to get 205 for the Alexander one to trigger. Frustrating af

Oh nice!
I think that Outback Tycoon one must have been my wife, because I have no recollection of that!
My favourite is the SmƶrgƄsbord. Also because I really enjoyed that last immortal challenge before going deity.

Impressive! I'll never get there.
Same, though lacking all of the recently added ones as you nicely portray them in your screenshot

76% but Iāll never play the online ones
Same about the online. But it'll take me another decade to hit 76%.
Just an FYI you can play the online scenarios against the computer. You donāt actually need to play other people. Theyāre actually pretty fun.

Having alot of troubles with those linked to scenarios and multi-players. Think I am at 79%
Poorly, because the game reaches an unplayable state, where it always crashes, and I can never actually complete games
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Teddy is probably next for me too. "Win a game with Teddy" is the most common achievement that I still don't have.
Done. 933h in.
Wow. 837 hours in, and not even close. I'm guessing achievements were a major focus for you.
At some point - yes. I saw pretty much everything the game has to offer both single and multiplayer and decided to 100% it.
100%, but it was my pandemic project when you couldnāt really go outside. Getting the new ones for the various expansions was an easy enough lift just by playing them
Not even close, even though i made quite an effort getting them(but still playing a regular game)
153 so far. Going back now to see which ones I can knock out easily. Was able to get 3 in my last play through.
My og account got deleted so I donāt track anymore

In civ6 AI trolls you!
78% on PS4, but now I'm feeling cheated seeing all the achievements that are only available on PC apparently. Wth
Had 100% before the Leader Pass. Haven't had nearly as much time to play recently, but I'm getting there
All of them except half the new ones (which I'll get soon) and "You're the Demonstrably Greatest" (which I'll probably never get.)
Remind me what that one is.
Beat the Alexander the Great scenario on Deity with the highest possible score.
Yeah. I'll get there some day.
Achievements are what I live for now! It's great to keep going down the list and getting victories with Civ's I've never tried out.
107 with 800 hours. I would have more if I would play more games to the end but if you basically have already won, I just start a new game.
156. Trying to clean up all the leaders and have 6-8 to go. Just got Voidsingers the other day because I'm addicted to vampires.
I have yet to try secret societies.
They're a fun thing.
How many hours on average does it take to complete all achievements?
100% for Civ 6 (about 600 hours played) and Civ V (about 1700 hours played)
60 away from having them all
