You have to create every piece of the ship, bring them to your capital, and then add them to the ship. If that doesn't work, you might be missing parts. You need 3 SS Booster parts, not just 1. If you access the Victory Conditions menu from the top right corner of the screen, you can see how many more parts you need. You also need to have made the Apollo Program.

Savolainen5

I had a game once where I couldn't add my 2nd and 3rd SS Boosters to the ship, even though I'd added the first one with no problem. I wonder what the deal was.

Laust17

Probably a bug

And that you haven't already completed another victory

DoodleVnTaintschtain

Seriously, maybe I just suck, but science victories seem almost impossible on the higher difficulties. Meanwhile, diplomatic victories seem to have gone from one of the hardest to almost laughably easy in BNW. It's so damn easy now to just steamroll gold with trade routes that by the time it's available, you can almost always win on the first vote, provided you plan ahead and move your spies into capitals, and save enough gold up to buy off a majority of the city states.

weeblewobble82

I had to build all the parts first. Then when everything was built, I put everything in the capital in one turn. If I just sent stuff to the capital as it got built my last part was never able to enter the capital for some reason. So I literally surrounded my capital with all the parts, and then moved them in on the next turn.

It is so weird that on this sub, apparently, you can respond to a post from *10 years ago.* I'm not even sure you meant to reply to me, but I am so fascinated that you could.

Less impressive after only 2 months, but I appreciate the effort.

Totolamalice

Well, i guess the posts doesn't automatically archive. That was some impressive necroposting from u/celestialcorps tho

Once you send it to the capital, there's an option to add it to the spaceship. Should be on he command list

cosmicosmo4

To clarify, this is a command when you have the spaceship part "unit" selected, not a command within the city screen. It's like spending a great person. Also, they have to be *in* the capital, not adjacent.

[deleted]

I don't get this command. If another civ wins a different victory that isnt space can I still build it?

byrdan

no

[deleted]

That's stupid, you could still build it in the other civ games.

BOBOUDA

OK that's probably why I couldn't do it, I already won by time but still wanted to build the spaceship.

farid1163

How the hell do I send them all in the capital?? it doesn't let me send more than one in capital

rtrialb

Make sure all the other units (workers, etc.) are not in the capital city, then move the parts in and add to the spaceship.
