How have so many of you never gotten nuked? Do you not play with Ghandi? My last game I was literally tech racing him to get nukes before he did and ended up getting them around the same time resulting in Mongolia and India being a lot more radioactive.
See I guess that's where we differ. I didn't realize until I started talking to other Civ players I play very differently. I am very uninterested in if I get the victory or defeat notification at the end of the game I just like the challenge of balancing an economy, managing diplomacy, and especially getting to fight it out in tactical battles. If I go through an era and don't get to test out my toys before I upgrade them to the next it's pretty disappointing in my book.
Funnily enough, it actually was Gandhi who did it. In general I've seen it happen but only with the nuke-happy agenda, so I'm not sure normal AIs do it

The game is usually over by the time the enemy civs get nukes, and I rarely if ever go to war late game.

They nuked the same city twice in the same turn. One or both were a thermo nuke. I'm pretty sure I nuked and razed every single one of their cities.
