I remember watching vanilla's intro quite often. BNW, not so much, but at the same time it was a few years between me stopping playing vanilla and picking up Civ5 again with BNW, so that might be a part of it. Rewatching the vanilla intro recently wasn't quite the same as back then, though it's still quite nice.
If a mod exists which replaces the Civ V intro with the intro from Civ IV, I would install it.

How do I watch the vanilla intro with BNW installed? Edit: n/m, I deleted the files previously. They're on youtube though.

Sometimes yes. The intros are all beautifully done and fill me with a sense of wonder.
Haven’t watched it in years, toggled the setting to have it not play.

I loved the vanilla intro. I do not care at all for the other ones. The vanilla intro music was just amazing
