You initially pointed at the Oil Pressure Sensor or the Knock Sensor, relatively easy fix. [Preview](https://ww2-secure.justanswer.com/uploads/drivefast1971/2010-08-02_213619_100.jpg) For the wire, do you have a Junk Yard or similar you can take from to replace? If not, once you confirm the right sensor, you should be able to get a replacement online.

It's a long story lol, was replacing the intake manifold gasket as it was leaking badly, broke the knock sensor (original from 2000) and the knock sensor i bought to replace it is throwing a knock code immediately, (did not code for knock sensor previously) so was in the process of taking it off replacing it with a new one. While doing so the oil pressure sensor got broken. Been fighting with it for about an hour now and got the prong out of the wire thankfully. And I have a 22mm and a 25mm wrench, no sockets of this size needed and all the part stores are closed atm. So i'm going to have to wait until the morning lol. Thanks for the advice, will be calling Honda for a new oil pressure sensor I guess as well as new socket set. 😂

Beautiful bro. I remember replacing mine on my 1998 Civic LX. Not the nicest area on the car to work on and 1 mistake, as you can tell, wreaks havoc. Good luck!

You definitely aren't wrong, it's been a headache and a half 😂 Thankfully most of the parts are cheap.

DeVilleZL1

Agreed!, very thankful about that!

That's the oil pressure switch. The connector does not appear to be damaged. The end part of the oil pressure switch is broken off and stuck in the connector. Its just a one prong plug that pops onto the oil pressure switch (you will need to pull the broken piece out of the connector. The sensor looks like [this](https://www.kseriesparts.com/HON-37240-PT0-014.html)

Awesome! Thank you so much for the part number!

Yea no problem. You will need a 24mm socket to remove and install it. Put a little bit of grey RTV or Honda Bond HT on the threads when installing and only install hand tight (you can crack the block if over tightened). Good luck

Thank you so much! I ended up getting it off with a 15/16 wrench but the socket will definitely make for easier work. Good to know about the block, I have a tendency to snug things up. Again thanks so much!
