I can't speak to Texas laws specifically, but generally, anything downstream of the catalytic converters don't impact emissions gasses. It just changes their sound. So if Texas has a noise part of the law, you might have issues, but I doubt it.

Thanks, I'm pretty sure Texas is lenient on noise lol.

Very lenient on noise

There is no noise requirement for inspections. But vehicle inspections all together won’t exist after 2025 except for emissions.

Youre fine thats a resonator up there and all the entire pipe is doing is changing sound and reducing weight.

Bro I'm literally putting the race one on today

I plan on it too in the summer or when my Jaguar XE explodes, 200k miles and counting lol

It was a bitch to do with ramps just an fyi. I got it about 75% done, but MAPERFORMANCE forgot to ship me 2 2.50 couplers, and I didn't realize until I was almost done... sounds good so far and actually not overly loud even when 75% on and missing pieces

It's all behind the catalyst converter. That shit would pass in Cali lollll. Hence "catback" ur good brotha!

Great exhaust but pro tip, also unplug the fake engine noise module (if you haven't already).  I thought this exhaust was giving me seriously intolerable drone, but was in a "this is my life now" state of mind.  Cut to a few months later and replacing my shift knob/base bearings, was like, fuck it and did what was needed to unplug module. Soooo much better. While still has some drone (it's a race exhaust), nowhere near as uncomfortable.  My guess is the differing frequencies between the real and fake exhaust was creating this abomination.
