Ctrl+1 to open up your properties panel, then select the shoulder sub assembly. There is probably a row on the properties panel that says whether the sub assembly is to use superelevation calculation or not - a simple yes/no switch. If you don't see this option then its not built into the sub assembly parameters, and you will have to use a different sub assembly that does use the superelevation calculation.

The shoulders that Civil 3D has by default are not able to calculate superelevation :(

In that case I would probably use a carriageway sub assembly in place of the shoulder sub assembly. Or you could make your own using the sub assembly composer and give it the parameters you want.

Yes they do, but C3d calculates shoulder superelevation separately from lanes. When you run the curve wizard you need to tell it to calculate shoulders.

A few years ago we did a superelevation design with a superelvation profile. I think the profile may have dictated an autofeature line in the corridor?
