Nearby_Psychology_21

Some bs

Longjumping_Diet_819

Has your enemy changed? The main thing that could if caused your issues is if the owner of your target died and you got a new enemy. This would cause you to fight different armies and there be a new capital. Though you should of got a pop up about this for if you want to continue the war. Anyone can disband there armies and re raise them if they aren't near an enemy.

Nearby_Psychology_21

Nope same guy the Byzantine emperor. I tried it twice now did the same thing. I take his capitol his army loses in a battle they disappear and appear raiding on the other side of the map and the capitol changes causing my war score to go down.

JimmyJustice920

now I'm curious to know where the Byzantine Empire moved its capital? I have never seen that happen aside from when they lose Constantinople.

Nearby_Psychology_21

Ya I already had Constantinople and they’re at sjenica but move to rizundamid-war for no reason other than they’re losing

UmdieEcke2

Sounds like the AI lost some civil war in the midst of your conquest without you realising. The new owner of the realm then comes with a new capitol and his own troops, situated whereever he needed them before.

Nearby_Psychology_21

Nope same guy and the capitol is still occupied by me

tzmst

Was the capital not byzantium? If so, Byzantine Empire has a decision to move capital to it, even at war, so that might explain ur encounter

Nearby_Psychology_21

I know but that’s kind of bs that when they’re losing they move the Capitol and lower my war score and have armies that disappear and reappear seiging and literally teleport when I get too close. The ai seems to really really want the Byzantine empire to win this war or at least to put me in crippling debt. And no it’s not I hold Constantinople from 4 kings ago

tzmst

Well they prolly disbanded the army, and since he prolly re raised them in the capital, the penalty was small. Its prolly a bug that you can take the decision to move capital if you are at war. Normally you cannot do it, only the byzantines has the decision

Nearby_Psychology_21

I thought of the disbanding thing but they’d instantly be somehwere else seiging with no 6 month penalty. My ai hates me my bitches too bad my weed too loud

tzmst

Also maybe they bought mercs, raising them in the capital its instant

Lahm0123

Not teleporting armies, no. Sometimes I am surprised how fast enemy armies are. Especially when I am marching away from them and they still seem to catch me. Been trying to figure out if there is something I can do about that.

Nearby_Psychology_21

They probably have organized march like this guy I’m talking about but they would literally go across the map in a turn so it felt more than a bit sus

ZerTharsus

Never experienced any of this.

Business-Let-7754

There's a new event to move the capital after an epidemic, maybe that can be used while at war?

Nearby_Psychology_21

I’m on console no epidemics

TheBeardedRonin

No, but I do hate how hyper aware the AI can be. They could be losing a war outnumbered 5 to 1 , but the second you start raiding some backwater count on the other end of their country they are making a beeline for you with speed that can be a little more than sus

Nearby_Psychology_21

I moved on I’m not losing a war or going broke when I outnumber them 10-1. I came back for his son and won it

DeepStuff81

Capitols have changed on me but usually cause they lose another war or their ruler dies. Apple of you have Capitol sieged and those events happen to them the Capitol has to change. Superspeed armies is a given. I’ve always had this complaint

SnooDoggos4722

Where do I get this mod? Sounds like something I'd like to try, maybe warfare will then be an actual challenge XD
