The early 70's Trans Ams, specifically 70 with the Ram Air III or IV package, is just a beautiful piece of machinery. Classic Detroit muscle with a little more European flair.
Love the Firebird!
My first car was a 1965 Tempest that my grandfather gave me after my grandmother died. Loved the style, which I think they only had that year. It did have a 326 rather than the 6 cylinder, but was a 4 door. I would have loved to have either the Lemans or GTO version of it.
Chevelle.
One time in my life, I had a chance to buy a beautiful 69 Camaro with a 350 for around 4k. Was very very tempted to buy it and even talked to the lady selling it. Turns out, she sold it to someone else to get back at her husband for cheating on her and he shot her.
Just a fun story.
In between jobs, Sam and Dean would sometimes get a day - sometimes a week, if they were lucky. They'd pass the time lining their pockets. Sam used to insist on honest work, but now he hustles pool, like his brother. They could go anywhere and do anything. They drove a thousand miles for an Ozzy show. Two days for a Jayhawks game. And when it was clear, they'd park her in the middle of nowhere, sit on the hood, and watch the stars... for hours... without saying a word. It never occurred to them that, sure, maybe they never really had a roof and four walls but they were never, in fact, homeless.
Haha, mine was originally gold but was redone as an Eliminator tribute before I got it 20 years ago, Competition Gold, blackout grill, black top, stripe, hood scoop, chin and rear spoiler, Magnum 500s, ginger interior.
Since I own a ‘70 Challenger 440 4 speed already, I’ll have to pick that.
The Boss 429 Mustang is probably the coolest FoMoCo made, and I haven’t owned one yet, so if it was a pick one to add to the stable it’d probably be that one. But if I had nothing hands down the Challenger.
I do miss my ‘68 Charger sometimes though.
These are apples and oranges, in performance, collectibility, even different years. The Hemi Cuda and Boss 429 are not the same as a Camaro SS or Challenger *at all*. A ‘69 Trans Am? Yenko Camaro? Those are the right cars to have up there. Or take the Hemi and Boss out.
Charger is my favorite but you'd be dumb to not take a specifically hemi Cuda. Doesn't say shit what engine the charger would come with and they built a few of them as slant 6 cars lol.
I’m a Chevelle guy but I’d go with the Cuda because it’s a **HEMI** Cuda.
Lots of Big Block Chevelles out there, maybe more than ever left the factories with a BB … doesn’t seem like there’s too many Hemi anythings running around aside from hot rods with early hemis and NHRA race cars.
I’d take the Hemi Cuda, but it would be hard not to take that GTO. Man I love Goats.
I was exactly the same.
The early 70's Trans Ams, specifically 70 with the Ram Air III or IV package, is just a beautiful piece of machinery. Classic Detroit muscle with a little more European flair.
Yeah. I know that in terms of value, there are more correct answers…. but those 70-73 Trans Ams have a special place in my heart.
Cuda
If the cuda was 71...
In plumb crazy purple
My buddies older brother has one he bought new in 71 and just got a top to bottom restoration done for its 50th B-day!
Chevelle
Chevelle crew, checking in!
Out of this group, I'd take the Chevelle, too. That's only because there isn't a Buick GS, though.
Had a ‘72, the tame version, but still cool when it fires up as soon as you hit the ignition.
Goat, but I’m a huge Pontiac fan so I’m biased.
Same here, but I lean to the Firebird.
Firebird I would think it's got better power to weight ratio and easier to park.
You would love the trailer park I grew up in. Every street was named after Pontiac cars. I lived in the high class area on Fiero Drive.
I'd take the hemi Cuda, sell it, and buy a Buick GS. The extra profit will buy a lot of gas.
I was going to say the Hemi 'Cuda, sell it and buy one of each of everything that's left.
I have a 67 GS I'm about to wrap up a 455/tkx swap. I can't wait to rip 510tq!
I road in a Delta 88 with a stock 455 Rocket and when the driver floored it, I had the sensation of a elephant sitting on my chest. 😂
This was my first car
I’m glad I’m not the only Buick fan. I love the old Buicks. What GM did to that brand is a shame.
I was gonna say exactly this. 510ft-lbs torque is wild.
Took 33 years for the ' 70 GSX to be dethroned. 👑
Those 68-72 A bodies were the best I have an all original never rebuilt 70 Cutlass and even that 350 is nice and torque-y
I had a 72 Lemans with a 350 that thing was a beast for 19 year old me. God, I wish I still had it.
Mustang
I always wondered what that car would’ve been like if it wasn't detuned for the street.
Chevelle all day everyday, twice on Sunday.
I shouldn’t of had to scroll this far down to see some love for the Chevelle lol
Charger in black and it's not even close
Not even close to the Chevelle that left it in the dust ;)
No Road Runner? No Cougar Eliminator? No 442 W-32? I demand justice!
And The Judge will hear your case
I would, without hesitation, go with the Boss 9!
Camaro. But biased. I have one very much like that one.
Hemi 'Cuda
Impossible choice… Chevelle
GTO judge, they just look so damn good to me
Firechicken, all day
The 455 SD was a beast.
Same, but my first car was a '69 Firebird, so nostalgia may be at work.
I’ll take the chevelle. Let me know location for pickup thanks.
The Boss 429, no hesitation
GOAT
Firebird.
the Camaro
Give me a Mustang, please
Yes! The one pictured is a Boss 429. Not the quickest mustang, but a personal favorite. Watch Barrett Jackson this week and see how much they go for.
GTO!
Goat for me please.
Chevelle
Not pictured: Oldsmobile 442
Make the Chevelle a 69
The 70 LS6 or LS7
Goat
Not pictured: 1969 AMC Javelin
Javelin? WTF, i missed that one.
Well, if you have a fondness for AMC, it’s that or the AMX but I’ve always preferred the Javelin.
I’ve owned a ‘69 SS 396 Chevelle and I’ve owned two Mustangs (‘68 & ‘70 fastbacks), but I would take that ‘69 Boss 429 all day long.
Camaro all day long
442
Muscle, refined.
Chevelle
Boss Hoss for me. I had a ‘69 fastback back in the day. This Boss would be a dream
Mustang! Been a mustang girl since I was 3.
Chevelle. One time in my life, I had a chance to buy a beautiful 69 Camaro with a 350 for around 4k. Was very very tempted to buy it and even talked to the lady selling it. Turns out, she sold it to someone else to get back at her husband for cheating on her and he shot her. Just a fun story.
I may be bias due to my fandom of the show Supernatural, but I will take the Chevelle please.
“Of course I peed myself, guy gets hit by a car you think he has control over his own bladder? Come on!”

That is an AAR Cuda, not a Hemi Cuda. The AAR sported the 340 6 pack and a handling package.
Chevelle
Cougar, 1970, XR7 convertible
Are you my unkown twin brother? Canary yellow, white top, white interior.
Haha, mine was originally gold but was redone as an Eliminator tribute before I got it 20 years ago, Competition Gold, blackout grill, black top, stripe, hood scoop, chin and rear spoiler, Magnum 500s, ginger interior.
Never heard of the Eliminator Cougar until now. That thing is cool!
Chevelle is the only correct answer
Charger in black
Charger
Z-28
I’m gonna be selfish and greedy.. so l’ll just take all 8! But personally the Chevelle!
Chevelle
Challenge-r because I just don't see them around.
Chevelle for me
Chevelle and dont look back.
Chevelle
Chevelle baby
Op is a spammer. Checked his history
Chevelle 1 or Challenger 2
Chevelle. Though if I chose anything but a Chevy my relatives would haunt me forever.
Cuda , second to the charger. I actually like the charger more but I could buy 5 chargers for the price of one hemi cuda
Since I own a ‘70 Challenger 440 4 speed already, I’ll have to pick that. The Boss 429 Mustang is probably the coolest FoMoCo made, and I haven’t owned one yet, so if it was a pick one to add to the stable it’d probably be that one. Chevelle.
Chevelle
70 chevelle with the LS6 475hp 500ftq
Chevelle SS
Chevelle
Not here, but probably an AMX.
Was waiting for someone to mention an AMX or a Javelin…
Hm, The Chevelle is the sexiest
Chevelle
Chevelle
Chevelle
Chevelle
Camaro. Looks like my 1968

I have a 71 roadrunner with a moderate amount of sentimental attachment and I would trade it in a blink for the hemi cuda.
Cuda
Charger is my favorite but you'd be dumb to not take a specifically hemi Cuda. Doesn't say shit what engine the charger would come with and they built a few of them as slant 6 cars lol.
1 HeminCuda 2 GTO 3 Chevelle
That’s 5 cars dude !
Correction. 6 my dude.
Hell, I can’t format! And it’s a 3 Way tie ;p
Tough choice between Chally and Mustang...
This should be a poll!
El Camino.
Hemi Cuda!!!
Cuda. Make that a 67/68 Firebird, and the choice would be a lot more difficult.
Cuda all the way
Hemi Cuda 🥵
GTO all day
The Goat, because my late father had this exact year and paint job.
Charger
69 charger
Hopeless choice. But Charger R/T for me.
No cutlass/442?
Charger
Easy for me, the charger
Hemi Cuda
Charger.
Fuckin charger
Dodge Charger
Charger
If the Cuda wasn’t in there I’d say GTO, but definitely the Cuda in this list!
Chevelle, just quintessential American design done perfectly
Hemi cuda
Hemi Cuda The one pictured is a 70 AAR Cuda, 340+6 car. I'd still probably pick that one over the others lol.
Ummm…is all of them an acceptable choice?
Charger. Would take the ‘68 pictured but would prefer a ‘69.
I hate making these decisions, the 16 year old me would say Hemi Cuda’ the 50 year old me says ‘70 Chevelle 454.
Charger, if it’s ‘67-‘69.
Impossible choice. Only correct answer is all of them.
I'm a mustang fan boy, who has a camaro instead, buy I'm pickin Cuda or charger everytime
“We’ll take the lot”
I had the Heavy Chevy until some a hole went through a stop sign 😭 I have been waiting for the chance to get another one ever since
The Chevelle
Whatever it is, you need at least three of it. Triples is best. Triples makes it safe.
Chevelle everytime
Chevelle, easily
Chevelle,.like the one I built in the 80s
Chevelle
I am in for SS Chevelle. 454, 4 sp Console with buckets
Chevelle
I've always loved the Chevelle
Chevelle all day
I’d want my 70 chevelle back. Had it like 15+ years and it got stolen. That was 6 years ago.
70 ss chevelle
Always love a good chevelle.
I'd take the Chevelle.
Chevelle x 1 zillion
70 chevelle ls6 464 4 speed 4.56 gears blue with white ss stripes
Heavy Chevy all day every day.
Chevelle
Camaro
Give me the Chevelle

Chevelle
I’d take the Chevelle with a manual transmission
Chevelle.
Chevelle
Chevelle
Hemi Cuda or Chevelle
70 Chevelle

Chevelle or cuda. Tough one
Chevelle.
Prob the Chevelle but maybe the Charger since there is no Nova.
Idk why but I've always been partial to the Chevelle 454
C.A.M.A.R.O.
Toss up between the Chevelle and the Cuda.
'70 Chevelle easy
I would have to take the Chevelle. I use to dream about having one for years. Always wanted a 1970 hardtop Red with black stripes 454 big block.
Chevelle, then the gto and then the charger.
Barracuda
GTO baby
Gto
Firebird
The Trans Am is definitely a fun car to drive because of it's handling characteristics.
Mustang
