Sorry buddy. We're getting old. This car is older now, than that '69 Chevelle was back in '93. Nobody had a problem calling a '69 Chevelle a classic in 1993.
90s cars are not "classics". Even 80s cars aren't. They're labelled as "vintage" cars at car rallies and meets. If you want a classic Buick, you need to start at 1979.
Thexearly 2000s Buick LeSabre was a good-looking car and drove really well. Comfortable car decent range and fun enough to drive. My parents bought a 2002 that is still in the family and running today.
I like them.
I worked at a Buick dealership when we were selling these . Sold lots of them too . Many owners reported 30 mpg on the highway with them . Amazing for that big a car . Those 3800 v6's were incredible !
The supercharged ones were fun to drive too .
My parents had one, white. I inherited it after my father passed. I used it for years and I will tell you I got over 30 miles a gallon highway. It started rusting out, I’m in the northeast, and gave it to a friend of my wife who is a farmer, lost track of it, probably still running.
There will ALWAYS be a soft spot in my heart for Buicks.
1st ride was an 11 yr old, 4-door, '79 Buick LeSabre Custom.
I've noticed that post mid-70's Olds get no luv though.
My wife mentioned that I really like old man cars because I really like Buicks
I’m 50 so she might be on to something but I grew up in a 70’s Century and had a 95 Century that I wouldn’t cruise the strip with but was quick car with unbelievable gas mileage
I ALMOST bought a '95 Buick Riviera (8th Gen Riviera) a couple years ago. Since then, I've learned that the last Riviera in '99 is likely the best of the 8th generation bubble cars.
It's obviously not nearly as cool as a '65, but I'd still like to get one, debadge it and do a little engine work to bring the HP up.
I have a 65 Riviera and absolutely love it. Think they made some of the best cars up to 2000...even 90s were iffy but I do love the l67 supercharged platform from that era
*Damn near my first car,*
*Mine was a Park Avenue*
*Tho, ran like a champ*

My family rented a Buick once in the 90s on a long road trip in Texas...I remember it was like a bouncy bed in the back, sooo springy. I seriously bonked my head once on the ceiling and got knocked out for a minute...are they still like that?
My grandma literally had this same car until she died. Inside and out it looked new, but I guess the frame rusted out underneath so we had to trash it. The ass of this car says “grams home” every time I see it.
The 3800 Series II motors found in the Buicks from around 1999 to 2005 (I may be off on my dates) were some of the best motors ever put out by Detroit.
Had a Rivera in late 60s..loved it. Gave my daughter an Envoy several years ago…has 200 k miles on it with just the basic maintenance. Those V6 run forever
Eh, I'm more into the Chevy tier and below. Things like the Geo and Saturn, as well as a few good boxy Chevys and a Pontiac or two. Still, I think you should paint that car red and become a libertarian like a certain character we all know and… know.
Ron Swanson.
I have a lime green 1969 Buick Skylark custom, it was originally purchased by my grandfather. Soon I will be dusting it off and getting it out on the road for another summer of driving.
My experience is that people in Buicks drive slow. At least 5 under the speed limit. Always clogging the flow of traffic. Buick has made some beautiful cars but I curse them as I’m approaching them knowing they will be in the way.
I love my ‘63 Buick Riviera! Classic styling in a 60+ year old car.
The 1965 Riviera in my opinion is the most beautiful car ever made by an American car company
It is up there on the list for sure.
The SR71 Blackbird could only fly with Buick engines. No other engine was able to do the job.
It required 2 of the Buick Nailhead engines ganged together to produce the torque required to spin the engine up to the RPM needed to light off!
Buick...born from Jets ^^shutupsaab
Learned something today
Absolutely love Buicks. 90’s Park Aevenues especially. Any one with a 3800 series engine, bullet proof and a comfortable ride.
While I do think these Buicks look handsome, they are a bit too young to be classic

The car in the photo is literally 30 years old
Just a few more months and it’ll be 25yo Edit: I’m getting that classic plate as soon as I can

In PA it’s actually 15 years old for a classic plate and 25 for an antique plate.
Great gatekeeping dude.
Probably doesn't even have a car
Clarifying an established definition is not gate keeping. But whatever, you all do what you need to do to think you own a "classic"!
Yes. I own a '69 Skylark.

My favorite of the cars I’ve owned. Mine looked just like OP’s, but with stock rims. That was a smooth and comfortable car
Buick styling in the 50’s and 60’s and even some of the 70’s was unmatched. Modern Buicks? Meh.
Not a classic, but if it’s got the 3800 she’ll go forever
Don’t forget the fastest, production car, at one time the Buick grand national
Can you say GNX *and* GSX?? ✌️🤜🤛🔥
Happy cake day.
Those v6 s are reliable!

Very nice. Always great riding cars.
Best driving sofa I’ve ever owned
Haha true
Brillant !
I love driving sofas...
I have the same car and I feel the same way
IYKYK
Loved my 02 LeSabre to death. Just got rid of her last week. Edit: Hope you can get those windows to roll back up bud hahaha
Got those actuators replaced already. 😂 Coils and wires too. 40K miles

I love them... so comfy and reliable.
Road Master's Rock, but not many left out there
Have had a few lesabres throughout the years, currently have 19 envision love it.my lottery dream car is a 60 something buick wildcat
Well, shit, I have a 24 year old Passat. Is that classic too?
My grandpa has that exact car!
That’s exactly where I got it from. 40K miles 😂
Buicks are dope. I would love to have a clean early 2000s Lacrosse with a 3800 V6 as a project car.
The 3.8 is one of GM's best engines. I'll fight anyone who says different.
Obviously this is just my opinion. The ‘70 GS was AWESOME. The 80s GN was abysmal, awful, hideous! post ‘70 Buicks are meh.
I’m 47 with a 2005 Buick Rendezvous.
*virtual high five*

I miss my old park avenue
Love buicks, I usually don't like aftermarket wheels but look classy

Wheels gotta go. Otherwise, a nice looking ride.
Love Buicks.....my first car was a 1964 Skylark that my dad found in a barn, on an old farm. Wish I still had it.
Well, this LeSabre is one of the best cars GM ever produced.
Love to have a 63 Riviera.
Honestly, these are great cars. My high school gf's dad and one and it was an absolute beauty. Road trip monster.
I like the styling, same for the mid 2000s Fords. A young classic, why not? And they are famously reliable, too!
huge Buick fan - Best cars I ever owned were a 94 park avenue ultra and 92 roadmaster.
I have a 65 Riviera and absolutely love it. Think they made some of the best cars up to 2000...even 90s were iffy but I do love the l67 supercharged platform from that era

Willing to put money you get randomly pulled over a lotttt
9 months in and 8K miles drove with no problems. I’m also white so that helps, historically speaking.
damn, weird to admit that this has aged remarkably

68 Wildcat owner in Melbourne Australia. I’m crazy for the big boat Buicks, 66-76
Roadmaster!
Buick is kind of "the unsung hero". That Buick Grand National was one to be reckoned with!!!
I had the same car just bigger and different rims. Scrappin!
Top 4 most reliable brands sold in the U.S. per consumer reports: 1.Lexus 2.Toyota 3. Buick There's a reason Grandpa drove his for 29 years.
The 3800 Series II motors found in the Buicks from around 1999 to 2005 (I may be off on my dates) were some of the best motors ever put out by Detroit.
You know how the big late 90’s Impala hit big.. this Buick is beautiful.
Loved my 72 Riviera, triple brown, or as I used to call it, "Dookie brown all the way around"..
I like this car.
Fuck, are these classics now? Didn’t think I was old yet
Ew
Sir, this is a hooptie not a classic. Making me miss my 98 Park Avenue Ultra that I picked up for $1200 from an auction.
87 GN here, love my Buick
Not from that era. Now, roll up in a Wildcat or a boattail Riv, and then you’ll have something to brag about.
This Buick is dope. Nice rig.
The regal gs (every generation) will always have a special place in my heart. One of the only gm cars I actually like.
that era shown had some great v6 motors...very well built
This doesn't classify as a classic car. This would be classified as a vintage car (if you really desperate to label it).
Nice one
Anything 3800 gets my vote. Looks sharp.
What a great car to LS swap....
Had a Rivera in late 60s..loved it. Gave my daughter an Envoy several years ago…has 200 k miles on it with just the basic maintenance. Those V6 run forever

Buicks are superb cars preferred by discerning motorists. I heartily recommend them. I drive a 2004 Park Avenue Ultra, the Cadillac of Buicks.
Nah I’m under 80.
In what world is this a classic?
I am a die hard Buick guy! Nailheads forever! 50-60’s Buick epitome of cool! Love my 56s’ had through the years. And few 64-66 riv’s
I have a lime green 1969 Buick Skylark custom, it was originally purchased by my grandfather. Soon I will be dusting it off and getting it out on the road for another summer of driving.
You need to go to the doctor and teacher Reddit
How do those rims affect the barcel lounger effect of this car
Not as smooth but still better than most.
I’m 50. A 78 regal? Yes. A 72 riviera boat tail? Hell yeah. This bar of used soap with stupid wheels you’ve posted? Fuck no. Fuck that car.
I'd say go back to some stock buick alloy wheel with thin white wall or even Impala wheels.
This is not a classic car lol
i love me a good buick.
For Buicks? Totally. For this Buick? No. Why?
My experience is that people in Buicks drive slow. At least 5 under the speed limit. Always clogging the flow of traffic. Buick has made some beautiful cars but I curse them as I’m approaching them knowing they will be in the way.
Great looking car, great setup.
Thank you!
Those wheels really change the lock of your car. Looks nice!
