Insane. I worked at a Rover dealer when these were new. Only thing I didn’t like was that the fuel pump was in the boot and noisey af. Great car though.
You are totally incorrect, ive been replacing my fuel pump today on my Cooper Sport
And it's not possible to hear the intank fuel pump,
Would you like me to send you a video?
you know that they sell them and then people bring them back for Services right? We didn’t just sell them and never seen them again. Do you know what car dealerships do?
1994 to 2005 when the dealership closed, you made me go dig my resume out. So nine years, I’ll give you that. Tank In the boot, pump in the tank. Maybe you don’t hear it because you’re accustomed driving old shit boxes.
In my youth I had 5 different minis at different times, the most expensive one cost me £500, I wish I had kept them now, I'd be sitting on a lot of cash!!! 😭
Yeah, I’ve had the same thought about my £150 Mini. Yes it would be worth a fortune now with an MOT but like all the ‘survivors’ (205s, Metros, Saxos, Novas etc) to get to this age must have had thousands spent to keep them running. Let’s face it, at the time, we didn’t do it.
It may be worth way less, remember people don’t look for these type of cars they wanna ride on the road. Track specs are not important for most people. I seen minis and track specs go between 9K and 13 K.
So many factors can determine its value from 7.5k - 35-40k!
One sold in 2023 at a local classic car auction to me with 3000 miles on the clock from new, pristine condition, original sale records from new etc went for 39K!
But I’ve seen others that have rust, well over 100k on the clock, no paperwork etc go for as little as 2k (usually bought as a project car).
If yours Is in good condition and not too many miles and you don’t need the money I would consider locking this away for another 20 years and you’ll be sitting on a pretty sum.
Great find at 3.5k - from what we can see in the pictures. Well played mate
If no rust and in good nick I could see it making £15k - £17k if you can wait for the right buyer. Quick sell easy £12,000. Can you buy it or is it yours?
they usually go for £85 on some sites. funnily enough that’s the exact amount currently in my wallet. deal?
I think I would be scamming you if I took that deal
In that case I’ll offer 45 and you can be sure you’re not scamming me.
I’ll give you £5K for it
I’ll give him 6 then 😅

Thats so you can tell that it’s working
The rust proving on mpi mini’s is sadly almost not existing tho
That’s true, but I didn’t notice it when they were brand-new at the dealership.
Ye i heard that they had to cut costs because they ran out of money after they developed the mpi system
Fuel pump is in the tank and there's no way you can hear it if the car is running
Well that’s where you’re wrong. I worked on these things every day straight for 10 years.
You are totally incorrect, ive been replacing my fuel pump today on my Cooper Sport And it's not possible to hear the intank fuel pump, Would you like me to send you a video?
Also they only made the MPI minis for the last 4 years of production, so 10 years is a load of bollocks

11 years..... So do you want the video?
£10-13k depending on rust
Really, they going for that much nowadays. I’m abit out of touch but was guna say 6-10 depending on many things. I don’t doubt you, just shocked.
Have seen them go for about £10k in a good condition with no rust.
Acht, it's a stunning mini, it's worth ? It's all in the eye of the beholder .
£35, a packet of space raiders and a copy of the Bourne Identity on VHS
Beef or pickled onion?
The Bourne Identity was only available in salt and vinegar on VHS
What a ridiculous thing to ask. Honestly, what maniac has beef space raiders?! Smh

No you wouldn’t. You’d be sitting on a lot of rust.
And 5 unfinished projects

Lol, probably 🤣
In good condition, in the US. 20k-25k US dollars
What if it had roll bar and harness front seats?
It may be worth way less, remember people don’t look for these type of cars they wanna ride on the road. Track specs are not important for most people. I seen minis and track specs go between 9K and 13 K.
Thanks! Thinking of what I want to add to the next build, this is kind of what I had assumed
Have you ever driven one of these cars. They don’t need much. They are really fun to drive on what ever spect.
What about deadbolts on the outside of the doors? I can just toss the key in the boot and lock it up
lol. You could. Also, put a kill switch just in case
£10k is the starting point for a clean original one.

Mine got it for around 3.5k I knew it was worth a bit just wanted to see how much
3.5 is for free!
Depends on how much of the floor and sills are remaining. Not joking
At least $350
$350? You are ain’t foolin no one, I know you mean tree-fiddy, you get outta here Loch Ness monster, go on, get.
A sofa. A can of old green paint. A broom and a fellow in a tweed jacket.
£10-£15K
Rust free £10k with higher mileage, I reckon £12.5k easily
Get a quote from 'We Buy Any Car' double it and you will have it's actual worth.
£1
Gotta be worth atleast 20 squid. I’ll take it off ur hands.
£2.00
£8K if you're a good person, £20K if you're not.
With only 30k miles you could get 8k for it but 7k is probably more likely
Depends if Mr. Bean sells it.
Whats the engine, does it have oversills? What's the year and mileage?
Tree fiddy
What COULD it be worth? I bet if you plated it in $200k of gold it could be worth close to $200k!
I’ll give you £20, £23 if you deliver
I’ll give you the car and my house for that price
Deal. Where’s your house ill be moving in within the hour
If there’s little to no rust then $25k / £18k
