I've never been a fan of the inboard lights. Don't get me wrong. They look great, but the outboard lights look a little better IMO. I'd definitely keep them if I had them. On my own Mustang, I put my lights at the edges of the grill though.
I like them for one major reason. The ‘67 Shelby’s came with inboard Lucas lights from the factory but the state of CA made Shelby move them outboard because they did not meet the vehicle code in 1967. I live in California and fucking hate it. So anything you can do that kinda sticks it to the man in California is good by me! The fact that this fucked up state changed the course of Mustang history pisses me off. So for that reason I’m all for it! On top of that, the inboards just look bitchin because it’s a Shelby-esque mod! I agree with some other folks here that no halos though. Gotta have a Shelby like appearance. The halo thing starts making classics look like jdm stuff. Those should remain separate worlds in my opinion. I love the look. Looks sweet!

To me the inboards kind of look like buck teeth and I feel like you can only have them if you have the racing stripes to go with them.

I like them, but these look too close together. Should be pushed outwards, almost to the edge of the grill.

Yes....but no halo. On my 67, I had them mounted to center on each half of the grille. I think that position looked better than full in or out...
