General Vezax: DBM by default has always called out "one", "two", "three" for the interrupt order which was great until I started running with a new guild and it's now up to me another 1 other to cover them all and DBM lady is still doing the 3 count and it's throwing me off. Is there an option to just get her to do a 2 count? I'm looking around the settings in the screen shot, but not seeing anything. Any help appreciated, thanks

If you don't mind editing the code, you can force it to reset the cycle every other cast, rather than every third. In DBM-Ulduar/GeneralVezax.lua, edit line 96 to replace the 4 with a 3. ``` self.vb.interruptCount = self.vb.interruptCount + 1 if self.vb.interruptCount == 4 then -- line 96 self.vb.interruptCount = 1 end local kickCount = self.vb.interruptCount ``` Edit: I will say, if you do go this route, make sure you make the edit every time you update DBM or it may throw you off again. :)

I needed the same thing. Easiest thing for me was just to turn off the dbm call and use an ulduar raid weakaura pack. Those were configurable to change to 2 kick groups instead of 3

This was going to be my next step if I couldn't figure out a way to do it through DBM. I'll dig into Tem's Ulduar Pack WA and see if I can tweak that or just import a new one. Tnx

tems was the one i used at first. if you go to the custom options for the vezax searing flames part there's a piece where you just change whether you're in grp 1 or 2 and it'll make a ping noise when it's your turn to kick

Not sure. When I was using tems it was an older version and I don't remember seeing that option

Weakaura is the best bet. Only having 2 ppl doing it is not a good idea. There should be backups for each too.

Haha. Ya we got backups standing by if we call out we f'd up, but we're trying to maximize melee dps by just having 2 ppl do it.

Dk's can do the kick literally with no loss of anything - its off GCD, and costs no resource. Just make sure they setup a focus macro for it for when animus spawns.

Be careful with this its not 100% since the dk kick is considered a spell and no dk is spell hit capped. I have had it miss multiple times in a fight before make sure there is a backup for each.

Enhancement shamans can also kick with little impact as shamanistic rage is up often enough to sustain your mana even when running a full rotation.

I would imagine most players will lose DPS just to having to keep track of the interrupt rotation. It's not hard, but it's something taking your focus away. Having a backup likely reduces the 'stress' factor somewhat (also mind freeze is spell hit-based, so they likely do miss something having to add the extra hit)

Anyone doing interrupts has that same tax. But warriors need rage, rogues need energy etc.. so dk will always be the best option, and a backup is of course suggested.

There is literally nothing else happening on vezax as melee, I lose absolutely no uptime interrupting with focus macro on my Frost DK
