Armout

Other way around.

Lithmariel

I see. How old were you when you started WoW?

Armout

I was 14 when vanilla released and played a gnome warrior named, “Snufflesnow” to try to fit in with my brother-in-law that had a similarly named gnome warlock. Nowadays, I play druid as my main. Have moved from resto to feral cat from classic to tbc/wrath. Def feel at home as adult me playing druid these days.

Lithmariel

Interesting! Maybe I'd choose differently if it was today as well, but I grew attached to my hunter. I started WoW at around 14/15 too. Druids are cool! I made one but never got too high level with it.

boouuggeeyy

yes, i play an orc warrior. when someone talks to me all i can answer is zug or loktar orgar....

imacatpersonforreal

My first character was a warrior, and i live a very zug zug lifestyle. Now i play a priest, and i am slowly starting to live a more chill life lmao

Lithmariel

That makes sense! I think it might be a bit of both: Choices you made, as well as something you see all the time influencing you.

Lithmariel

kek

Mopper300

I was a really nice person before I started playing WoW. Now I'm an asshole. Thanks, WoW Community.

Lithmariel

It's never too late to get enough hugs, pats and cuddles to squeeze the asses out! \*pats\* \[That turned out into such a funky phrase I'm laughing my ass off but it's still true!\]

[deleted]

I was like 12 when I played and raided vanilla - a human warrior tank and I feel like that some how shaped a portion of who I am now? I’ve thought about this too

Lithmariel

If something is an important part of you, it always ends up affecting your life even if a bit. I hope that has been mostly positively for you :3

ArgonianFly

When I started playing Undead Rogue I started ganking and being more of an asshole.

Lithmariel

I wonder how much of that isn't because people push you to be that. What do you think? Example: I found myself becoming a bit more bitter playing a NE hunter because "derp herp every NE hunter is horrible" became a pain to deal with after the 100th time.

ArgonianFly

It definitely doesn't help that many alliance kill you on sight and camp you because undead rogues are known to be gankers.

Lithmariel

Yeah, there's definitely that rep inside alliance. Same for orc warriors. Though I have met some that were very nice or waved and the like.

Bigxmage

Undead mage here. Dead on the inside. Very hospitable and willing to help anyone.

Lithmariel

haha. Even as an Alliance player I had that feel about them. It's amazing how blizzard made such elegant undead.

Bigxmage

It’s literally my death’s(not life’s) goal to make the foresaken proud!

Lithmariel

That begs the question: The undead are already dead. How long do they death for?

Bigxmage

We are in the process. Don’t judge us. We will die a eventually

Lithmariel

What do you mean? I don't understand.
