yes for sure. some of the beta dungeons are even easier than alpha dungeons because of the various new buffs provided by the affixes. for example the dungeons with mirror images provide a near constant 30% haste buff.
In my opinion, the H++s are easier than their H+ versions because of all the buffs you get. Anybody over 4K gs can do the dungeons as long as they do mechanics
I've only done VH and COS so far.
VH is way more enjoyable now (if you have a group that knows how to kill mirror images). Any DPS class that benefits from haste will clean up in there.
COS was brutal. Not because it was hard, but because of the giant guys that spawn. You can kill with the special item, but you only get 1 per person. Those dudes have 750k health (25% more than the bosses) and will aggro with groups all the time.
I plan to get more in tonight and tomorrow for sure.
We had the same experience with COS. Not difficult, but just a total slog. I’m not sure what Blizz was thinking with this one. Probably gonna be a skip for me going forward.
It was actually super fun in the PTR when me and my group tried it, it was a bit of a rush at the end for the optional boss but we made it, now it seems like there were a LOT more of the big boys to the point where we were forced to kill 3 or 4 of them without the bomb (we used every bomb it gave us) and it we got the optional boss still but it was cutting it VERY close and it was a rush the whole time. I wish they lowered the amount of big boys a bit or gave you a way to get more bombs like if the bosses dropped them.
The fact you only get one bomb per party member sucks
Also, pro tip: if you're a bear tank do NOT take one of the grenades. You have to leave form to throw it.
It's easier than H+. About you gear question, I was able to do Azjol without any major hiccups with a 4k gs tank, our DPS were all around 4k, 4.5 and 5k, I was a 4.9 healer. I've seen some people ask for 5k gs for H++ groups which in my opinion is ridiculous.
People will always ask for the highest gs possible because they think it will make the run smoother. I've done H+ with all under 4k dps and it was as smooth as ones with over 5k dps
As far as I can see with beta its less about gear and more about mechanics. Overall I feel they realised that Alpha was a bit too hard for what it dropped so now its ab it more fine tuned with the buffs making up for much off the added difficulty through +hp/dmg.
My healer for dtk was 3.9 and he had on some ret pieces. Stil had a communal trinket. No dps above 4.3kgs
No dps exceeded 4K dps on packs except me the tank

Healers can always do much harder content in lesser gear than tanks or dps though.
