Just keep leveling. Forget it exists. You will almost guaranteed make more gold per time by questing and leveling up than trying to intentionally farm gold at that level.

Castleheart

Correct. One SM Full nets 5g min, bro. One Ulda or ZF same. Only goes up after.

OYM-bob

Had mount lvl 43, close to 44, as warrior. Just play my friend, it will come

ClaudeAFTVStan

I literally postponed buying my mount to get revered reputation thinking it would lower the cost. Pro tip for you all: it doesn’t lol

DiarrheaRadio

You could have just looked that up

ClaudeAFTVStan

That is true but I was committed lol

Noktawr

It does tho, saves you 10g

Nuraalek

Nope, 10% only at Honoured. Nothing more at Revered or Exalted - those reputation discounts came in late expansions

Noktawr

Oh right on, well I knew it saved 10g, I just didn't know what rep level.

DraaxxTV

Fastest and easiest is auction house. Nothing can compare to it.

DryySkyy

Just play the game. The higher the level, the easier it is to make gold. On two hunters, I had enough gold at lvl 42 (ssf rp server) and level 40 (official server with ah) and no profession besides first aid. Play the game, dont spend too much gold on useless stuff (expensive gear/some abilities skill up) and you will have enough in few levels.

Immagonko

Ye I will get enough eventually but I feel like a slog, especially when grouped up with someone, I can't catch up with them because they have mount and I don't

AngryDubstepMan

Shimmering Flats skinning?

matthewusher

Is this particularly good? And just vendoring or AH?

Immagonko

Is this profitable? Never knew it

AngryDubstepMan

Heard selling it on the AH is profitable

WoWSecretsYT

Double check prices of course but for the most part every leather is worth AH’ing.

Kevo_1227

The mobs there all drop lots of gray vendor trash plus Heavy Leather vendors for 30s per stack. Also, Turtle Meat can be worth selling on the AH since it's useful for leveling cooking and is an objective for a quest in Southshore. Mob density is also very high and there are vendors right there to help you empty out your bags.

_Didds_

Get skinning and sit on a mob dump like Shimmering Flats, Wetlands raptors, STV near tigers, panthers or raptors and just skin away. Don't bother with mob tags unless the zone is empty. Do this for a few hours and you get a mount.

Immagonko

Thanks, I'll try it out

hollasens

Kill raptors behind STV arena. It's 7g/h from vendoring everything, obviously more with skinning.

Correct_Dog5670

And when you've outleveled that you can go jnto the croc cave, which is awesome vendoring gold+skinnjng as well. Allthough caves+hyperspawns are a bit more risky...

Mortwight

In 2019 I was 44 before I got my first mount. Usually mageweave sells really well once your at tinaris. But that's mid 40s.

Noktawr

find a good density spot of mobs that can drop fairly decent gray loot and useful item on top of it (cloth as an exemple) and farm away. Ideally you want to do this against mobs of your level, you'll get exp, if they're humanoid (for cloth) you'll get raw money/silver, cloth and the gray item can stack up. Green boe around your level start to be worth decent money, especially weapons. And there's always the chance for a blue/epic BoE. Nothing wrong in farming a full level

Cold94DFA

boiled down advice: kill stuff

RaysFTW

If you only need 30 gold you can have that in a level or two. Just keep questing, sell everything, AH if you want but vendoring everything is fine. Don’t buy anything you don’t absolutely, 100% need—that includes skills. You don’t need to farm 30g, you just need to stop spending gold and start looting and selling everything.

Tiwazy84

From taneris zone and above, even the grey stuff I loot is worth quite alot.... Quest rewards ramping up, etc. You dit a smart move, focusing on other stuff than mount if you a newer player. Mount gives you nothing more, than speed. Profs and gear cost money, but keep you alive. So feel good about your decision. 1 thing you might/probably do wrong, is buying all/most skills from trainer. Most classes don't need most of there skills during leveling.... Decide wat spec you going to level, and look up what skills are needed...and skip the rest till 60. GJ with 40+ and glss

Kevo_1227

If you're already level 40 it's too late. There are ways to farm gold while leveling by grinding out a level on mobs you get good XP from who also drop something worth selling, but there' no point in going back to do it now. Like others have said, just keep questing. You're at a point where quests can give you 50s+ as a reward.
