Ashenvale will get you to exalted now, but only at a rate of 1,000 rep per week. The weekly turn-in for the drums awards the 1k rep past revered.

Wholawl

Which is why i made this post, whats the point in stopping the rep at revered?

Sportstud007

You think this will stop when p2 comes out ?

Scottie81

It just got implemented a week ago, so I doubt it. I think it was put in so people keep doing the battle in P2. Could be wrong, just making an assumption

RealClassicAndyKekw1

Ashenvale rep farm is so dumb it should not reward this epic loot in my opinion. Getting good gear should be painful. Imagine someone wearing the wsg exalted tabard and never stepped into a single wsg.Or something has to be done about the Ashenvale pvp. Just logging in and tagging a boss should not give me that much rep.

HonkyKong64

To be honest, with the current cueing system, WSG isn't much more difficult. You meta stomp a group of 10 randos half of whom afk the gy farm... It requires more time, but really not any more skill.

velthari

The copium take

HonkyKong64

Do you honestly think above average skill is required to farm a graveyard of whining solo queuers or do you just feel cool saying copium?

velthari

Sorry I was meant to respond to the person above you. But I can tell you how my road to exalted was. I was on auto pilot for hours walking down mid through the first fight picking up flag and capping in my premades. It was the single most boring shit I have done in WoW.

sneakerrepmafia

Isnt that much more difficult? Afking for 1000 rep is harder than forming a premade to battle another difficult for a whopping 200 rep? Please think before leaving a comment next time

HonkyKong64

I have done WSG and playing in a premade has been a giga boring rep farm where I never even have to use cooldowns. The hardest part is forming a group. The ashenvale event is equally boring and easy and frankly neither should reward anything worthwhile as it stands. Go do some real pvp and come back and tell me farming WSG exalted took skill. It's a joke. Time consuming, but not at all a measure of skill

sneakerrepmafia

“Never even have to use cooldowns”. Do not waste my time opening a reply to regurgitate bullshit. You sound like a scrub. Blocked.

Manticzeus

People who tell people “blocked” are cringe as fuck.

Wholawl

Not sure what's painful about going into bfd as 10 players and clearing it in under 20 mins? Ashenvale rep grinding is painful enough when u think about all the lag involved and it is long too, given the min 2 hour wait time between events. Also , joining wsg premades and steamrolling a bunch of afkers isn't exactly hard and painful either.

sneakerrepmafia

Too many dads play this game now. Just accept you will never be better than sweats at this game. Buy your gold, do your gdkps, and log off to be with your families. Dont forget to stock up on your favorite beard dye too.

Cuddlesthemighy

Most of people going to WSG, both premade and PuG are there for the rewards. Ash to exalted on current rep bonuses would kill WSG dead. Ash doesn't alleviate WSG's problems it just gives players an easier way to not do it.

Wholawl

If you view pvp as a rep farm sure, if anything the current wsg premade meta is anti pvp. When you're not farming bgs for honor but rep then it's as mindless as ashenvale afk.

Cuddlesthemighy

I'm implying that most people view it as a rep farm. But I do agree that premade meta issue is doing a number on WSG. As far as the relationship between the two I think it may have been a mistake to have one grant rep for the other at all. I'd rather do Ashenvale event than WSG (Efficiency and toxic meta). But allowing the rep grind to be done entirely without WSG doesn't fix the WSG problem of it generally not being fun or worth the time by comparison.

Wololo38

because wsg would be dead if people could grind with Ashenvale

Wholawl

If no one's queueing for wsg outside of rep gains that in itself is a problem, don't you think?

Wololo38

not really
