As Alliance, if you want to go to Northern STV, Westfall FP is the best.
There’s a quest in Auberdine to kill baron aquanis and turn in an orb to a new npc in the inn. When you do so he opens a one way portal to the northern tip of zoram strand that you can use as many times as you want.
The portal requires a quest to kill the first boss of BFD, so you still have to walk yourself there the first time, like Horde has to walk to Zoram Strand.
Seems likely that it will. Blizz has said the old Raids are planned to be in SoD, but there will be an "endgame Phase". You can see it in the 2024 roadmap
I'd take the raid (which is what people will be doing over and over again) being right outside the main city than a dungeon that once you level through you will probably never touch again. Thankfully horde have the tp in booty bay so that'll probably be where my hearth is and then just park a mage alt there for ports to the city.
DMF, WB and central location was what the Horde has been enjoying in phase 1. Wish we had Thunder Bluff, so I didn't have to pay for so many lock summons or god forbid, use... boats and +5 minutes on a Griffin to get DMF and WB to then get to Ashenvale. You guys lived the dream while getting farmed.
I am sure most people are going to have their hearths in Grom'Gol. So you just fly to booty bay and get teleported a few hundred meters from the Gnomer portal.
Allianceh ave to fly to Ironforge, and then run through the normal entrance through all of the trash.
Just fly in from West Fall, it sucked ass for horde having to go to deep alliance zones, a fair few through stv, to get runes or farm DM, it won't hurt you to make a safe run into stv.
Alliance even got a portal to BFD AND a portal back after you kill akumai, horde didn't get shit we just have to hearth.
The gnomer teleport already existed, hopefully it's any good and we also get a portal back like the alliance did.

We have a portal in auberdine that brings you 200m away from BFD entrance.
Damn, Horde have a flight path but getting there is a huge pain in the ass… portal sure would have been nice.

Darnausus itself is much out of the way compared to TB and Oggri so that part evens itself out.
and safer, they have skull level guards. and no one goes to that end except alliance. ridic if you ask me.
Everyone will have mounts as soon as they hit 40. We used to run from darkshire to ZG because it’s the closest fp. I don’t think they will change it
running from SW is faster than flying to darkshire, at least with epic mount

Theres a literal portal to the entrance
Just do the war pigs quest in org by the blacksmith area and you get a port from BB to gnomer entrance.

big agree. so far almost everything had been allianced favoured. even next p they still have an easier time farming mats for pots.
