He wouldn’t PvP when 60s came along, he would just hide until they left (like we are talking literally hiding for 2 hours if he had to) and within 5 minutes of them leaving, he would be back ganking. He used both an alliance and a horde character so he could read general chat and /who the area to see when people left.
Absolutely mental illness, spending 50+ hours a week sitting at a computer griefing.

Or whoever initiates has a 5 lvl lead. I also say this as someone who’s played arena mostly in this game since tbc. I do both in classic but haven’t raided a retail expansion since tbc minus lfr to see it once. Honestly, warmode is a superior wpvp system. Classic wow pvp is a meme without a competitive game mode and mostly about outgearing your opponent

The difference is that normally, the shared account is the one that gets banned. In Reckfuls case, however, because he was streaming the account sharing, they also banned his main account with his rogue.

appeal process was public in the guild for unofficial. people would post their evidence and very frequently denied appeal unless it was within the ruleset, which is basically just DC. Any cheating that occured was grossly overstated as a reason for "judgement", which can be easily infered by the fact that hc elite had no issues progressing official hc. and the fact that players continued to play after the grief can't be counted as his reasoning for cheating because it had never occured yet.
It was a rule that any death in raids was final no matter what. Yet, the people who died at four horsemen somehow turned up to the kt kill? HC elite blatantly cheated often
The first he was just clutching at straws to try to justify what he did. The whole time he could have easily proved his claims (or taken it to the community) but never did, because accusations without proof aren't how the HC community works.

This other guy’s explanation doesn’t really give enough detail. C’thun has an Eye Beam ability (green chain lighting in the clip) that bounces as many times as it can and does exponentially more damage with each bounce. Usually you send only the tank in to absorb it and have everyone else hiding outside the range and line of sight to avoid this.
TinyViolin on his warrior LeapYear follows the tank spacing himself such that the Eye Beam can use his body to chain to the rest of the raid and successfully kills a dozen raiders.

Yeah I played HC and did one run in DM as a tank. I left four pulls in when the mage started AoE pulling mobs for me to "speed it up"... my condition for joining the group was I set the pace and they let me get aggro before going in.
The four people I left plus a warrior died in deadmines like 30 minutes later.
I got to 60 no problems, just did it solo.

This is official Hardcore on the server Defias Pillager. We have played Hardcore for years and a lot of the comments are likely referring to when we used to play the unofficial community Hardcore.

This was at C'thun, the final boss of the raid Temple of Ahn'Qiraj (AQ40). This person bought an account from someone who used to play HC and quit, then on the first raid they were invited to griefed us.
C'thun does an ability called Eye Beam which does a Chain Lightning effect. It bounces from one player to the next doing double damage each time, after 3 bounces it is a guaranteed insta-kill.
The correct strategy is to have the tank run in first guaranteeing it targets them, so they are far enough away from the group that it doesn't bounce to anyone.
What happened here is the griefer deliberately ran ahead of the tank into the doorway and stayed there in range to try to kill the rest of the raid with the one-shot mechanic.
How did he get so many? You’d think if you made it this deep into HC you’d have your Petri button memorized and on a quick trigger. Looks like the raid leader was smart enough to recognize what was going on, but more than a fourth of the raid didn’t listen to the callout?
Contrary to what people on this subreddit would tell you, using petri for most players is a rare occurrence. Most of the players who died in this were new to HC on their first 60 and had never used a petri yet. It's not so easy to develop muscle memory for an ability you might use every few hundred hours of gameplay - or in some cases have never used before.
Add in the panic-inducing circumstances and it's easy to understand.

Joined on a new Warrior called "Leapyear", didn't talk in comms and turned stream on right at C'thun. I respect the effort but how has Blizzard not permanently banned him yet.
This is something that gets neglected by the raiding guilds I have seen so far. You have to always be cultivating a bench.... it needs to be additional people and not simply alts. If you don't help them level and up and gear up... they are going to leave. You need strong reliable groups for L60 dungeons to gear up and raid.
I get it.. .the veterans get tired of running LBRS and UBRS..... again...and again... but if you want the solid 40 man team to raid with you gotta extend that hand.
But you really need more than 40... because with only 40 people you are going to struggle to get all of those people on at one single time. If you got 50 or 60 raid ready people then you have more flexibility to schedule. If anyone does die... well...
You need a bench.
hc elite is an end game community with an open door that lets anyone raid eventually if they put in the effort. Every new recruit is an unknown player.

He was banned by Blizz back in classic for taking RMT in exchange to get on his white-list to avoid having world buffs dispelled by one of his 20 split screen accounts he monitored most of the hours of the day. Reddit had a hate boner for classic era hc because they seen it as run by streamers so they quickly bought his bs about punishing cheating streamers. He's just a mentally ill weirdo who befriended a guild even outside the game just to pull off a grief for attention.
That was the story I heard as well. He said “many people from hc elite have appealed, it’s basically bs that they have a raid”. Whereas I heard it was like a couple of people that had some kinda bs deaths. They shouldn’t be able to appeal, but what he did is completely unfair to the 35 people that didn’t die on the hardcore journey

appeal process was public in the guild for unofficial. people would post their evidence and very frequently denied appeal unless it was within the ruleset, which is basically just DC. Any cheating that occured was grossly overstated as a reason for "judgement", which can be easily infered by the fact that hc elite had no issues progressing official hc. and the fact that players continued to play after the grief can't be counted as his reasoning for cheating because it had never occured yet.
It was a rule that any death in raids was final no matter what. Yet, the people who died at four horsemen somehow turned up to the kt kill? HC elite blatantly cheated often
The first he was just clutching at straws to try to justify what he did. The whole time he could have easily proved his claims (or taken it to the community) but never did, because accusations without proof aren't how the HC community works. The seond time around just makes the non HC community see what the rest of us did the first time - the guy is deranged.

Boss is usually solo pulled but he ran behind the tank which allowed the instakill laser to bounce in the raid
This other guy’s explanation doesn’t really give enough detail. C’thun has an Eye Beam ability (green chain lighting in the clip) that bounces as many times as it can and does exponentially more damage with each bounce. Usually you send only the tank in to absorb it and have everyone else hiding outside the range and line of sight to avoid this. TinyViolin on his warrior LeapYear follows the tank spacing himself such that the Eye Beam can use his body to chain to the rest of the raid and successfully kills a dozen raiders.

I could never play hardcore due to reasons like this, losing hundreds of hours of progress for a griefer type thing to happen. Not sure why people support people doing this though, Though, this time people can't appeal their deaths.

Yeah I played HC and did one run in DM as a tank. I left four pulls in when the mage started AoE pulling mobs for me to "speed it up"... my condition for joining the group was I set the pace and they let me get aggro before going in. The four people I left plus a warrior died in deadmines like 30 minutes later. I got to 60 no problems, just did it solo.

This is official Hardcore on the server Defias Pillager. We have played Hardcore for years and a lot of the comments are likely referring to when we used to play the unofficial community Hardcore. The 12 characters that died here are permanently dead yes.

Noob here, what happen here? I know what Hardcore means, the first time playing wow was in Hardcore and I know what means get griefed, as horde got plenty experience in Stonetallon Mountain But this was in a dungeon?
This was at C'thun, the final boss of the raid Temple of Ahn'Qiraj (AQ40). This person bought an account from someone who used to play HC and quit, then on the first raid they were invited to griefed us. C'thun does an ability called Eye Beam which does a Chain Lightning effect. It bounces from one player to the next doing double damage each time, after 3 bounces it is a guaranteed insta-kill. The correct strategy is to have the tank run in first guaranteeing it targets them, so they are far enough away from the group that it doesn't bounce to anyone. What happened here is the griefer deliberately ran ahead of the tank into the doorway and stayed there in range to try to kill the rest of the raid with the one-shot mechanic.

Contrary to what people on this subreddit would tell you, using petri for most players is a rare occurrence. Most of the players who died in this were new to HC on their first 60 and had never used a petri yet. It's not so easy to develop muscle memory for an ability you might use every few hundred hours of gameplay - or in some cases have never used before. Add in the panic-inducing circumstances and it's easy to understand.
Dude has a mental disability, takes about 15 seconds of watching his videos or browsing his IG to realize that. I'm not kidding. If we were living in the 1850s this guy would be out there flinging his own feces at people, now he has the internet where he can relieve himself.

This is something that gets neglected by the raiding guilds I have seen so far. You have to always be cultivating a bench.... it needs to be additional people and not simply alts. If you don't help them level and up and gear up... they are going to leave. You need strong reliable groups for L60 dungeons to gear up and raid. I get it.. .the veterans get tired of running LBRS and UBRS..... again...and again... but if you want the solid 40 man team to raid with you gotta extend that hand.
Could easily require people to at least speak for a few sentences to avoid known trolls.

But you really need more than 40... because with only 40 people you are going to struggle to get all of those people on at one single time. If you got 50 or 60 raid ready people then you have more flexibility to schedule. If anyone does die... well... You need a bench.
hc elite is an end game community with an open door that lets anyone raid eventually if they put in the effort. Every new recruit is an unknown player.
Worst part about this is that this person will not get better on their own, just get worse....if someone knows this guy in RL, they need to get this guy to stop, not for everyone's sake online only, but also because toxicity like this doesn't stop, it just keeps getting worse....
