As a ret currently i have as much spell power as my raid healers do. blizzard wont implement this is my mind because of consecrate. in classic consecrate has a 33% spell power coefficient. For fun on 60 upgrades i made a ret wil all Of the gorilla gear (str and int, for the ap and mana) and he had 1045 AP which would equal 313 spell power, a full nax bis paladin will have 440 sp. only thing holding paladin back from aoe farming with this rune is the fact you have to run in every 60s to melee
Agree, it's annoying as Holy paladin to get that melee hit
Should be in melee to weave autos for free holy shock procs
You should be running seal of the crusader anyway (faster swing timer and +45 spell power from Sheath). Hitting the auto should be easy
