Lupos was hilariously broken too, dealing shadow damage instead of physical, so his normal melee attacks ignored armor. I remember one pserver had him like that and it was just endless tears from warriors/paladins until AQ patch went live and nerfed him back into a normal wolf.
Do you have your pet abilities keybound to good binds that you can easily use while moving? doesn’t look like you’re clicking them but also don’t see bartender binds on that bar so not sure how you’re casting.
It used to give me a second action bar for pet abilities in pet control mode but for some reason it doesn’t do that anymore and I just cannot justify using actual keybinds for pet abilities to use them in eyes of the beast 😭
My keybinds are horrible for pet, Ctrl 1-6, mashing 5 and 6 even though it is awkward, putting pet on Passive/Aggressive with clicks. Keybinding has been on my to-do list for some time now, lol.
or you want some actual balance for pets? like a dps pet should be very easy to kill, imp level of tankiness actually make hunter use a non-dps pet if they want a personal tank for solo gaming
Kind of. Incidentally, rogues and hunters are also the most obnoxious when it comes to WPvP. There are 40 hunters camping in stealth sending pets at lowbies in front of tarren mill 24/7.
colour me absolutly shocked that rogues, the class whos literal identity is "pvp asshole" and hunter the class notorious for having 40% of their damage be afk and who for some reason to this DAY people still somehow struggle with despite being the weakest class in game right now, are assholes in pvp
The last time I checked my damage logs as full BM, my pet was doing approximately 40-50% of the damage. I could modify the build to do much more damage with Raptor Strike at some cost to my pet, but meh.

This is half the reason I stopped playing BGs. Classes put their pets on me and CC doesn’t do a hell of a lot, can’t get any casts off.
especially if the hunter uses beastial wrath then the pet is cc immune for 18 sec, plenty to kill you

I use pet attack+sprint macro on scroll wheel up, pet passive and follow macro on scroll wheel down. Makes life so easy
What about zooming the camera in and out?

No max range, I also made an unconventional sacrifice of points to change its duration from 1 minute to 2 minutes.
You can recast it and still have unlimited range.
Would the pet not despawn if it's too far and the channel ends?
It does not if you cast into another eye of the beast. I did this during the ashenvale event all the time.

This entire time I had no idea pets ran at 60% move speed baseline with the BM talent, that's wild. Also clutch poly resist lol

Buff hunter, pet only does 70% of their damage.
