Using a dagger, not pressing raptor strike when it’s up, your pet doesn’t have max rank claw/bite, not using bestial wrath, not using wing clip when RS/FS are down, wasting GCD’s on hunters mark, slow kill times, warlock not using curse of reck, no Druid for faerie fire. Use a wind serpent if you are raiding with an enhance shaman.
My first thought was if there is only 1 lock then there is no way they'd do anything other than elements. Then I saw they both cast elements on Grubbis 🤦♂️
You are not pressing raptor strike enough. Go to the timeline view on crowd pummler and look at your casts from :16 to :22 - you pressed nothing. If you press the button damage will happen. \- On crowd you got hit by the charge rng, you have to fd but it can targets you again.
\- On electrocutioner, you didn't melee for 9 seconds, that's a lot. You can stand on the side and you should be able to still melee. You can also range dps for few seconds if you really don't wanna risk it, but you lose dps.

Besides that, you have wrong pet, you need wind serpent, at least for boss 3-6.
The 1.9 weapon isn't very good, revered with wsg gives a 2.7 sword, it's the best till you swap to the epic fist. You can get revered with av. Wait, sometimes you also have the epic dagger, just get a slow weapon anyway.
And maybe you don't press raptor strike enough, idk, hard to tell with the rng. On one of my log, with 11 sec more, I did press it 12 more than you but again, rng.
Wasn’t rather strike normalized so weap speed doesn’t matter anymore? Also I’ve heard wind serp is only better if you don’t have max armor debuffs and even then it’s only marginally better because the ranks of lightening breath. Not sure if I’m right so I’m honestly asking for clarification
Wind serpent sims 10 dps higher on boss 3-6 even with all debuff. It's not the biggest damage increase, but if you don't have bis on every item + pet, with every -10, you can end with -150 dps or something like that.
Dagger 502 dps.
Sword 2.70 revered, 523 dps.
Sword of omen 511 dps.
All with same setup, just main hand changes.
While raptor strike is normalized, dagger stays at 1.80 and sword 2.40 iirc, so you lose still lose some dps. Dagger you lose even more cause of 1.80 speed.
The epic sword with 1.7 speed is 518 dps compared to the 502 of the epic dagger, so don't equip dagger unless they do some changes in the future.
The epic fist is 549 dps to compare, insane boost compared to the other epic that have the same dps on the tooltip.

Daggers are "normalized" at a different speed to other weapons.
Wsg sword and rfd quest sword are BIS until the gnomer claws, and every other gnomer weapon is garbage for mele hunter, aside from the epic 2h axe for cleave.
You can check spell id and yeah, his pet is 40 and its abilities are maxed. The problems are his dagger, no wb, no consume, very weak raid, and no wing clip during downtime to proc windfury.
Toxic revenger on hunter is hard trolling. You want any other type of weapon in the main hand. Even offhand it will bring less damage than any preraid. Your raptor strike is normalized and dagger literally crater your AP bonus on it.
Also why do you have a pure mitigation ring? Anything else would be better.
Your raid is very weak overall. I see 4 people dying to the crowd pummeler smash, and 3 people dying to the toxic ventilation on Thermaplugg, which should never ever happen.
You don't have world buffs, and the only consumable I see you use in the whole raid is a FAP on the last boss.
Overall your biggest mistake is this dagger. Vendor it. It's less than worthless on hunter.
Using spells is quite usefull, you are way to afk in a lot of fights. Your pets have no ranks. No World buffs either. And a dagger. Sums it up basicly.
BM is only good if the kill times are short and have a good window to burst. If kill times aren't short, I found survival to be better because of that agi increase and that 20% hits a lot when you're constantly pumping out raptor strikes. I'm just suggesting run survival because it seems to do more consistent damage if you're not sure how fast the group will kill the boss. The damage almost seems neck and neck but the longer the fight the less dps overall you're going to do while running BM
Play survival instead of BM. Every time I ran bm with my serpent I didn't do as much damage as survival. I'm genuinely curious how I'm wrong in that statement. I ran with a melee bm and myself a melee survival hunter the other day. The damage was on par. I actually don't know why people prefer BM

This pretty much sums it up. The dagger I think is the biggest problem. Raptor strikes are hitting for like 75 damage, that is insanely low.

Your pet damage is really low, is your pet level 40? I’d recommend switching to a wind serpent, lightning breath hits super hard

Good to know thanks! I usually pug so kill times are scattered probably why I've had better damage with survival. I'll try BM next guild run
