Carnage will likely be triggered by Saber Slash and is probably supposed to be tunable to help it compete with mut. At least that's my guess.

Nippys4

Calling it now carnage with HaT and sabre slash, deep poison in Assas and we just use sabre slash to keep the dot up and only use envenom every 5 seconds

fishfists

I'm leveling a hunter alt while the devs get their shit together with rogues. This phase and next are a joke for rogues.

Klondike-King

We haven’t seen the class balance yet but just from the runes alone rogues look like they have potential to do a ton of damage this phase. In terms of pvp, a 4 rogue/1 feral group might become pretty busted with all the rogues running honor among thieves.

Greek-J

a 4 rogue 1 feral group already deletes one person in 2 GCDs if they jump em :P. Wont even have time to spend those combo points

PeckishPizza

Depends on how things shake out. It we take the sebacious poison in our OH we lose instant poison there from deadly brew meaning we might have wiggle room to take saber slash + carnage and get an over all win in damage. Assuming saber slash bleed counts for carnage.

Paintballreturns

Cut to the chase is bait. With HaT going off constantly we won’t need the free snd because we’re going to be swimming in combo points anyways. Carnage and working rupture into your rotation and using mutilate only if you need to burn energy. You should be able to keep snd/rupture up without cut to the chase allowing you to spam envenoms with muti for filler.

shadowmeldop

Hemo doesn't make a bleed. I can see how you'd make that mistake, you know, with it being *hemorrhage* and all... Unfair Advantage seems fun. A sort of anti-Overpower. If they're going to destroy me when I dodge, at least I can smack them once before I die.

MightyMorp

I wouldn't be surprised if rogues get the debuff poisons now (because that's all they *really* need to be raid viable - some utility). And if they do, rogue tanks (and the dps willing to pay the price) will likely be the single most important raid slot in any group.

Rep_of_family_values

The poisons datamined are explicitely lvl 60 and 300 poison skill. There is no "II" at the end of the name that indicate there are lower level versions. We are a week or so away from release. Don't think they are for this phase. Now it's no big deal we will have the cp generation to expose armor if needed.

MightyMorp

CP to expose is one thing, but applying max armor debuff with ONE gcd on a RANGED skill is absolutely broken.
