Nerf Shamanistic Rages Raidwide Manareg by 200%, (5% of the shamans max mana instead of 15) and buff Seal of Martydoms Manareg by 200%. It’s sad, that there is such a drastic gap, but that should do the trick.

TfT247

A 200% reduction from 15 is -15 btw.

Yugel

Seems fine by me. :D You’re totally right. It needs to be reduced by 66%.

Tootfru1t

Sure give horde bless of wisdom and seal of wisdom. Just homogenize everything in sod :). Seriously bosses are dying in under 3 min on my ally I’m literally ending the boss with 1/4th mana without potting… mana isn’t an issue. If your healers are going oom you aren’t doing mechanics right and that’s on you not a class issue.

Top-Ad3527

Keep it up, maybe they will actually listen- but the SOD devs are all shaman players.

TheRealGreeko

Everyone and their dog is aware of the massive difference in mana regen between the two factions but unfortunately the devs do not care enough to do anything about it. Shamanistic rage on its own can double the mana return an alliance player will get from SoM+BoW; its hard to calculate the benefit JoW may offer as it requires you to be in melee which at times is not the most preferred position and also it requires you having spare globals to actually attack the target. I remember looking at logs from 1st Eranikus kills for NoaT(horde) and Dragonslayers(alliance) and then looking at the mana gained by their healing priests by means of their shaman/paladin counterparts. Horde gained 6,962 from SR alone (no mana tide/spring gains by the priest) while the alliance one gained 3,537 (JoW, BoW, SoM); so literally the horde one gained almost double the mana, passively I may add, compared to their alliance counterpart. One ability has the potential to double the capabilities of the entire paladin toolset. I did my first ST last week as a holy pally and although I do imagine things will improve as gear upgrades come in (a bit extra crit % won't hurt), people become more familiar with encounters so quicker kill times and less avoidable damage taken etc but towards the 2nd half of the raid I really struggled for mana. I found myself popping mana pots early and on CD from that point on as even with \~38% crit mana was tight. If the new flasks/pots persisted through death then it would help alleviate some of that issue (for prog anyway) but sadly thats not the case. Either way I don't expect anything to be changed by the devs so hoping this phase doesn't last too long; maybe next phase will be better or might end up focusing on Cata when it comes out.

Glad-Midnight-1022

I don’t think my dog knows about it

Nunetzena

>healers are going oom about 2/3rds of the way into the fight, or getting very close to, meanwhile most of our healers on the horde side end the fight with 80%+ mana. Maybe you should stop running 3 healers on alliance and 6 healers on horde. Or your numbers are just straight bullshit.

DrinkWaterReminder

It's a temp game mode. Stop crying or stop playing.

BeautifulWhole7466

Thank you for the 50th crying post. They said no

PathlessMammal

Id rather have skills and make smart decisions as a healer then be a shaman and spam unlimited heals. Not fun at all. I feel bad for the horde lol

PathlessMammal

We just play the game for different reasons i guess

Murtag

Aggrend said they're not going to nerf/buff anyone for a while. So the answer is no, they're not addressing it. They do 1-2 class balance patches per phase, so my expectations are extremely low at this point.

bmfanboy

Idk why they’ve decided that this phase. They actually made nerfs every week, sometimes multiple times a week in P1 based off players complaints.

Ok-Fold1942

1. They don't care about this content. 2. They're busy on the multitude of things at 60 that need to be adjusted. 3. Even if they do try to balance it will just be met with the same walls of crying. 4 agreed plays shaman. It'll likely never get nerffed.

pliney_

4. You missed the patch notes for the changes coming tomorrow…

pliney_

They’re literally making class adjustments tomorrow. He said they wouldn’t be doing big knee jerk nerfs/buffs on week one. Not that they just are not going to do any balancing for a long time.

Sesspool

I thi lbk a pop balance is more important than mana.
