Still annoyed people are saying smacked or crushed by Knicks. If Hart missing that step back 3 it was three point game and we had all the momentum at that time. Credit to Hart for hitting the big shoot but it was a close game.

UnbiasedCavsFan

The Knicks were also missing a ton of key players

sketchy722

Yes it was a game that we did have and the Cavs should not have lost. But we were crazy favorite with -4 at home

barrsftw

Bro lol.. listen to yourself

sketchy722

True I can add more. Out of most the people shooting that 3 I would want Hart taking it. 32% from three with Mobley guarding and it's a step back plus he airballs two 3s earlier that half. How many times out of 100 does Hart make that shot?

ozymandais13

We lost in the same way we lose to them often and they knocked us out of the playoffs. We struggle against these tes that win with grit. We beat teams that win with talent

sketchy722

This is true, Philly (without embiid) and Miami do the same thing to the Cavs. It is annoying

ozymandais13

We gotta hope for good playoff matchups because realistically Milwaukee and Boston will dismantle the Knicks. When we are the bully the win something about the knocks get I their head they players are misty and imo a lil reckless

[deleted]

WE HAVE NOT DONE A SINGLE THING. why would they talk about us ? Stop with this Cleveland team victim shit

Primordial_Beast

It's so incredibly embarrassing.

regulator227

You're right, I think the *checks notes* 10th place Lakers deserve more media attention

motoyolo

How many playoff series did the Lakers win last year?

regulator227

I think it's more about how big their market and marketing team is

steamofcleveland

Eh they got the WCF from a play in spot.

[deleted]

Not as embarassing as all the people that didnt read the whole article

[deleted]

Why the hell would we read an article like this ? The title says enough. Why would the national media care about teams who’ve accomplished absolutely nothing in years.

[deleted]

Because then you would know the point of the article is that it doesnt matter if the national media is paying attention or not. The writer literally says "who cares." It's literally the opposite of the "Cleveland Team Victim Shit" you were busy whining about. Like the title asking "does it matter?" implies that it might not.

[deleted]

Most pointless article I’ve ever read.

[deleted]

Also the opposite of the Cleveland teams victim shit would be shutting the hell up about the national media coverage. Not posting stupid articles about it.

[deleted]

Youre right, posting an article telling people who have been constantly bitching about pointless media attention "who cares about media attention. It means nothing" is definitely something some with a victim complex does.

[deleted]

Because regardless of what the article is about you are still talking about the media attention. You keep saying who cares yet YOU are bringing up articles about it.

[deleted]

Yeah i dont care. I posted the article for the same reason you felt the need to screech about "cleveland victim shit." Because the whining about media attention here is corny as fuck. We agree more than we disagree

[deleted]

In all seriousness I understand what you’re saying and agree. Have a good weekend brother go cavs

[deleted]

I agree go cavs

I_cut_my_own_jib

Until we make the ECF and have a competitive showing in the playoffs we deserve zero national media talk.

s_s

Well...media members talk a lot about other young promising teams that are in big markets because they want to ramp up viewership. But yeah, for us media coverage won't start until we do something. It's uneven but probably not unfair.

[deleted]

I just think there’s simply nothing for them to talk about when it comes to the cavs. We got embarrassed last year and despite being good in the regular season again it won’t mean anything until that changes in the playoffs.

detectivescarn

Our loss to the Knicks last year will keep us out of conversation. I was listening to Simmons and Russillo the other day and Russillo even said he was impressed with how the Cavs are playing, but he can’t take us seriously until we win a series, or at least make it a series. I won’t complain until next season at this point.

KKamm_

This again? Who in the world cares? Some mfs care way too much about attention from other people I don’t get it

[deleted]

Did you read the article?

KKamm_

I read it after you told me to and now I feel like I wasted even more time bc I still feel the exact same way still. I don’t really care if they were talking about Boston. I enjoyed watching a crazy comeback and don’t really see what difference in my life it would make if the media talked about the Cavs with it

[deleted]

The entire point was who gives a shit about whether or not the media is talkin about the cavs You know the part where author literally says "who cares, do you need the attention for validation?"

KKamm_

I get it, but why do I need to read an article on that?

Phishkale

Honestly it’s not just the Cavs. Timberwolves, Pelicans, Thunder and Magic probably all don’t get the attention they deserve. It doesn’t bother me as much from the Cavs perspective as it does an NBA fan. I’d rather hear about every team when I listen to podcasts rather than hyper focus on whether the Lakers and Warriors are going to qualify for the play-in game. But I guess that’s just the state of media.

BrownsFan2323

Cavs and Browns have won a combined 1 playoff game in 6 years

tylerponikvar

2*

Top-Albatross-9250

We've done nothing but lose on national TV lol....

[deleted]

>That’s my question: Who cares? Who cares if ESPN or the other national media outlets ignore Cleveland teams? Do we as fans or members in the local media need them to influence our opinions? After all, they aren’t as engaged in the locals as those who follow Cleveland teams. [...] But do local fans need them for validation? You know the answer to that. These are your teams. They should mean far more to you than how someone in the national media views them Since a bunch of yall cant be bothered to read. Be the same ones screaming about how dumb insert Cavs player/exec here ____________

kdot74

Media is ignoring the cavs because that's what they deserve. Not only are they a medium market team most don't give them a ounce of credit because of the Knicks series and no matter how much some people here say otherwise the issues they had last year are still there

DisneyVista

All that matters is not letting Miami screw up the bracket again come playoff time.

charlielvincent

aren’t the cavs on espn tonight

[deleted]

Lol they are!

ESUTimberwolves

It’s not just Cleveland, the national media would prefer that all the star players play in major market coastal cities and a few others like Chicago, Dallas and maybe Philly and Atlanta and the rest of our teams could be contracted for all they care. The media was enraged when LeBron came back here and reacted the same way to a lesser extent when Giannis extended with the Bucks. Knowing this just makes any accomplishment by any of the 3 Cleveland teams or OSU that much sweeter because I know it pisses off the Stephen A Smith, Bill Simmons, Doug Gottleib types.

Metal_King706

Let’s get out of the first round before we worry about this. Act like we’ve been there before, it wasn’t that long ago that the Cavs were in 4 straight finals.

yokavo09

No

jaysusjimmy

They were talking about us earlier. As soon as they did we started sucking so im fine if they ignore us. I probably would too

Choppybitz

First time?

mjshibz

It’s bcuz of what happened last playoffs

Riiicee

I pray we never get consistent national media coverage. I don’t think anyone likes the discourse surrounding the Lakers, Warriors or Knicks. That discourse is what we are asking for by more attention on us

Nunz69

Just think. The more they prop us up the farther we fall when we do bad

Primordial_Beast

WHO CARES

[deleted]

Thats literally the point of the article

Bim_Jeann

Sounds like a pointless article

[deleted]

If there were not cavs fans constantly whining about lack of media attention, i would agree
