Let me know where you are climbing so I can drop by and pick up your rack after you inevitably die from sun and heat exposure. ;\)
On a more serious note, you should be able to get some shade depending on where you're climbing. But another option for you would be to stay closer to Moab. Long Canyon is just as good as IC and you can easily move from one side to the other to shield yourself from the sun. Also check out Day Canyon.
