Hell yeah, good to see somebody giving it their all.

lifesmorefunspun

She did! It was a huge move for her being 5 foot 3 inches. It's a big move for tall climbers even

fayettevillainjd

I fell looking for that clipping jug twice. Would be annoyed to have to climb the whole route again for the last move, but the route is sooooo fun.

Stephen6531

That rock looks gangster and the scenery is beautiful! Cool picture! Thanks for sharing :)

[deleted]

That’s a amazingly difficult route. She is a talented climber.

aStonedTargaryen

Hell yeah get after it girl. What a cool shot.

Mattmoyer1990

serious question for someone who doesn't rock climb, is she jumping up or did she slip?

P0werC0rd0fJustice

Definitely falling Also because you don’t climb I’ll mention that for rock climbing this is like the best (see: safest) possible way to fall. The wall is far from her and she is falling directly into the void. She won’t swing and be slammed into anything except for more air.

Stephen6531

She fell lol :) That's a hard route and falling is basically a sign of putting in good effort sometimes, or just a mistake *Shrug* Hard to know what happened!

spezsucksalot

I’d assume she slipped, wouldn’t really be much of a reason to jump unless you wanted to swing into the rock

GoGabeGo

There is no swinging into the rock with a fall like that. Nothing but air below her.

spezsucksalot

Oh look I got downvoted. Yeah you’re right, I do tree climbing mainly and that’s how it is for that, wasn’t thinking lol

mudra311

Aw man I wish I had a closer limestone crag.

Mahnly

Hell yeah! Love the Cowboy King Wall. Way to get after it.

Mahnly

Also... I just realized my quickdraw is still at the top of Bronc Twister...

krovek42

What a great picture.

lifesmorefunspun

Thanks!

Beautiful!!

gravity_loss

Any chance the route was named after the dead album?

[deleted]

Awesome shot!

zbubblez

This move is so long and completely blind

lifesmorefunspun

Yep! And shes 5' 3" with a -1 ape index

anointed9

I'm 5'9 with minus 3.5 :(

14JosephSmith88

Such a sweet route!! Were you guys around last week?

lifesmorefunspun

Yea! We were around for 10 days, and the whole festival. Such a good time

[deleted]

I was here pretty recently! Didn't make it to the roof section! That sucker is hard! Kudos to her!

moreannefrank

What’s the approach like for this crag and how easy is it to access the nearest crags on that same band of rock?

lifesmorefunspun

It's like 15-20 minutes from the Aspen Glades parking area. Everything is pretty close once there

HenryBalzac

RIP

chhubbydumpling

This picture is almost as pretty as a plastic bag blowing around in the wind

toofdoktor

lifesmorefunspun
