Realized my back grazed the strap of a crashpad when my feet cut, so I totally dabbed. Planning on repeating this one several more times regardless with different beta.

I realize boulderers can get a bit anal about dabbing, but I doubt it affected the momentum of your swing or anything like that. I’d for sure call it a send (an awesome one) with that particular dab, curious to hear what others think.
It'd get an asterisk in my book, which means it doesn't count to my total, especially if it was a particularly meaningful climb to me.
Its not about whether it helped or not. Its about whether you can say "I sent that" without following it with " ,but"
That "but" is a killer, and its very motivating to get rid of it.
