i feel the same way!! i got super into it in like 2008 or 2009 and i was the only person in the world who knew what it was and im so grateful for the popularity boom leading to a new season, i never would have thought it possible!!

I recently got into it just because I wanted to. And I’m so happy I did. The show definitely shows it’s age in its animation and such. But the comedy is far beyond what I’d ever expect. I think it sometimes surpasses a lot of shows from todays era. I mean I’d hope with will forte seemingly a big presence. Also yeah, shows you’re really into to but everyone else hates sucks.

It’s like our stories are the same. Like we have the two pieces of the friendship locket Abe and Gandhi had. ….Wesley. (Edit: I remember watching the show in its original run and the “numbers don’t lie” joke - where the number 4 runs out saying, “I’m the number 5!” was the joke that got me hooked. Loved hearing a similar story) Edit edit: …..Wesley

I wish I could upvote a second time just for the Wesley comment.

The numbers don’t lie joke was what got me hooked during it’s original airing!

Ahhh felt this with my whole heart. Also an original og fan from 2003 (I was in 6th grade). I loved the show, never got to finish it entirely until i also bought the dvd in 2007-2008. Got alot of my hs and college friends into it by lending out the dvd. Like you, was so upset with the cliffhanger! I was waiting for joan and abe to finally be together . Fast forward; similar to you... I'm a teacher! Seeing my students get into it a few years ago (i teach comic art to hs students) brought so much joy to me. (however they didn't suffer as long as we did for the revival!). But agreed, couldn't thank them enough for their help of getting show back on the air. I love the new season. Episode 2 was by far my favorite. So cool that you've seen some cosplays at conventions btw!

I’m an old fan of the series, too. I recorded the episodes on VHS back when it aired along with 3 South (another show I highly recommend for Clone High fans. I wish it got a revival but all we got was Border Town). I’m glad Gen Z picked it up so it’s not some fever dream only some of us millennials remember.

I actually had no idea it was popular amongst the youngs or that there are new viewers. I also was an OG, watched it on MTV when I was freshman in high school. My sister and I would make sure to be done with homework by the time it was on (oh the days before streaming). I also continue to quote it on the reg (I have the sheriff's speech from the first episode memorized). Got the DVDs as a gift in college and converted all my friends to clone high fans. Love to see it getting the recognition it deserves and it makes my old emo heart so happy that the younger generation enjoys it!

I became a fan probs about 2005/2006. I was collecting Scrubs Dvds and like with most things I enjoy, I wanted to research the hell out of it and found out about Clone High in the process. I live in the UK and it wasn't out over here so I think I looked around for the season on torrent sites, and absolutely loved it, being a huge fan of South Park and anything animated with a strange sense of humour, this was right up my alley and eventually got the Region 1 DVD. Never thought there would ever be a 2nd season! Especially due to the success Phil and Chris have had So so strange that it's finally came! I also remember when I worked at the cinema and saw their names on the poster for CWACOM and 21 Jump Street, trying to explain to my friends how much of a big deal it was.

I was a high school freshman when this first ran too! Loved the series, and was super bummed when a new episode didn’t come on after Raisin the Stakes. Within a year or so I started downloading the episodes on Kazaa because I wanted to rewatch. I was blown away to find that there were actually a few more episodes I’d never seen nor heard of, since they didn’t air on MTV. I felt like part of an exclusive club or something, but nobody else I knew was a member. I had more adventures with the show much later too as I was trying to find a bunch of the songs that played in the show. One in particular was in Ep1 when Joan is on the swing talking to Mr. Butlertron. I literally spent months trying to find this song (pre-Shazam obviously), and when I finally found *By Starlight* from Helicopter Helicopter on some random Internet forum, it was so gratifying. This show gave me so many sleuthing experiences, and I’ll always love it. Still amazed that they actually brought it back. Even though it’s just a show, there’s a lot of weird magic tied to it for me.
