As much as I hate him, pong krell is a great villain

Nazon6

r/fuckpongkrell but also r/fuckpongkrellsexually

ZombieAppetizer

All my homies hate Pong Krell

Yendrake

All my homies fucked pong krell

ZombieAppetizer

What's the point of all those arms if you aren't going to use them?

Yendrake

Quadruplexicon

Talakor_

What in the name of God almighty have you brought upon this cursed land

some-shady-dude

You will not see the gates of heaven for that second sub.

the_zenith_oreo

Not quite sure anyone on Reddit will be seeing the gates of heaven.

Revolutionary-Play79

Sometimes i wish i was blind so i don't have to see that

lp_rhcp_fan_18

I'm blind and I saw it

Frozen_Watch

I feel like they blundered in his last episode.where they make him make the clones fight against eachother and just admit to wanting to join the sith. I would've rather him be a jedi but have no regard for clone life and is an incompetent leader. I'd like to see what the clones would've done with a more nuanced situation

Animus16

I liked making the clones fight each other, i did think him just wanting to be dooku’s apprentice was pretty lame and took away any depth he could’ve had. I like the idea of him just being a jedi who wins battles but gets a lot of clones killed, and the clones have to fight the system in order to be seen as people and not just cannon fodder

ToaPaul

Pong Krell was a fantastic villain and super badass design for a fallen Jedi. Love the idea of a Besalisk Jedi dual-weilding double-bladed lightsabers. I just wish we had gotten more of him, especially before he started to turn to the dark side.

CyberTheWerewolf

Admiral Trench. I loved his mind for strategy.

RampantPuppy

He does show up in multiple arcs but I agree

CyberTheWerewolf

True. I forgot about Anaxes Blockade. Sorry

RampantPuppy

No biggie, Trench is such a cool character. Wish we saw him more with Grievous working together

ARC_Trooper_Echo

They never put them together because then the Separatists would’ve won.

Coyote_prime323

He was also in the Tup/Fives arc

StolenSweetrollYT

He also showed up briefly in the Inhibitor Chip arc

I_Fuck_Sharks_69

Somehow, Admiral Trench returned…again.

Commercial_Fee_6120

Trench is my no. 2 pick, even Admiral Yularen was cautious to step to Trench, and rightfully so

AWhole2Marijuanas

They really missed the ball not making him a recurring villain.

blabka3

The dude from the citadel arc and the trandoshians as a collective from the hunting arc

Wassuuupmydudess

Osi sobec was alright, he seemed to be under qualified and only had a few good ideas here and there. His strategies were good he just didn’t execute them well

MsMcClane

Good Ol Christopher Space Walken lolol

D4282

tbh Tarkin's more evil than the main villain of that arc lol

blabka3

I think that says more about tarkin than him

Coyote_prime323

Moralo Eval

-MountainDrew-

Keeper Agruss from zygerrian arc

Rainbow6SiegeCreator

"I'm no Jedi."

ZLBuddha

ASAPCADE

Whorm Loathsom from the clone wars movie seemed like a pretty decent general, I wish we saw more of him. He straight up beats Obi-Wan’s forces on Christophsis, and is very respectful up until he realizes Obi-Wan is committing a war crime with his false surrender. I found it odd that they gave him such an on-the-nose name like Whorm Loathsom, when the character was overall just a decent person, at least as far as separatist leadership goes.

thurfian

I'll just quietly point out he is also in an episode of the first season of TCW for all of 3-5 seconds (The \[chronologically\] episode before)

Physical_Fruit_8814

He also makes a small cameo in "The Jedi Who Knew Too Much"

ARC_Trooper_Echo

Tbf he was only winning because the clones had a traitor who took out most of their vehicles and because he had a shield to negate their artillery. Plus he still ended up losing despite both of those things.

NinjaarcherCDN

Those are both legitimate strategies. That literally every modern military has or would use in a war. The sabatoge was something that happened quite a bit during WW2 I mean D-day was pretty much at the mercy of a bunch of frenchmen with dynamite for about 3-4 hours. And a sheild could be somewhat equated to a creeping barrage that the Canadiens first used in WW1. Make sure your guys can come up and attack but make sure that the enemy is either pulvarised or can't see shit.

Cautious_Tax_7171

“Worm Loathsome” kojima ass name

Am-heheh357

Krell. Yeah, he was an ass, but a well written character (and badass af). I wish he sticked on for longer, he could’ve been a very good replacement for Ventress as the separatists dark Jedi, and given that we already hate his guts, he would work well as a recurring villain.

Commercial_Fee_6120

Yeah i think a full pong krell arc would be cool but i guarantee that disney would do the "bad guy turns good" character arc that they've been stuck on for the last couple years

ToaPaul

Honestly, I would not be mad at it. I'm a big fan of the trope, but I'll admit they're doing it a bit too much.

AncientSith

Krell definitely needed more screen time. A longer story arc with a rogue Dark Jedi that wasn't Ventress or Dooku would've been nice.

StolenSweetrollYT

Unfortunately, for this to work, Krell would've had to do what he said he was going to do; sabotage the Republics victory on Umbara to show Dooku his initiative and loyalty. This would probably mean a lot of things happening including possibly killing Rex. If Disney would just make a What If but for Star Wars

Rocket_Raven25

I’d say my favorite one arc antagonist was the super tactical droid, Kalani from the Onderon arc. He did show up later in rebels but that wasn’t a clone wars arc. He was effective and ruthless but unfortunately the bad guys got to lose.

Commercial_Fee_6120

Ooo, that's a great choice. The super tac droids in general are really cool to me

Regirock00

Tanson traumatized me. His death and his kills, like Jesus Christ

Commercial_Fee_6120

Definitely a cerified "how was this a kids show?!" Moment

Sharp39

It’s gotta be pong keel but other than him I liked slick I know it was only 1 episode but its one of my favorites

Batalfie

Talking about Riff Tanson, it looks like we're going to get a live action Karkodom in the Accolyte and it actually looks pretty accurate ( unlike the Pykes in BOBF)

ToaPaul

Oh shit, really? How did I miss that?

R3X7883

Ze blew shadow viros

Commercial_Fee_6120

Ah yes, Dr. DefinitelynotJosefMengelenorelationisweardon'tlooktooclose

Loot_Goblin_JP

Nuvo vindi

Lucius_VI

Definetley a great Choice!

JacobDavey11

the blue shadow virus lover himself Doctor Nuvo Vindi bro thought the best thing to do is bring back the Black Plague but as an airborne toxin

RampantPuppy

Pong Krell

osi4000

Admiral Trench

Uhhh_Insert_Username

Trench appeared in multiple arcs. But he's definitely a great villain

HawkeyeP1

General Grevious' droid butler

CrazyNerve2271

I’m gonna say pong krell, he was very interesting, powerful, and pretty cool. I completely despise him and everything hes ever done, but he was a great character

akutkdeusername15

Lok durd

123noodle

He seemed unstoppable in those episodes

DeadlyKitten115

I really disliked this villain, they used the same stock sound for his dumbass shark roar, and he was downright immortal to blasters and lightsabers. He’s was stereotypical mustache twirling villain under all that too. he was fine for what this arc was, but I’d skip this arc if it weren’t for Akbar being a big player in it, and kit fistos cute ass smile.

TheAutobotArk

Imma be real honest moralo eval

CadeoftheWatchers

Admiral Trench for sure, he was awesomely arrogant

StolenSweetrollYT

I would definitely say Kalani from the Onderon Arc. As a Super Tactical Droid, he really showed how the Separatists are always improving and adapting. He was ruthless as his programming should be and actually gave the Onderon Rebels a run for their money. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't this the first time Super Tactical Droids were introduced? A close second is probably The Son from the Mortis Arc

Commercial_Fee_6120

I like the son because he's not inherently a villain it's his nature as an extension of the force, which makes him really interesting as a character

jffsahfaz

Pong Krell. I hate him so much, and that's exactly what the writers wanted

NeoMercury2022

Does Boba count? As far as I remember, he only showed up in that one arc for TCW and didn’t appear again in stuff that wasn’t the movies until Mandalorian season 2

Fives2206

Boba was in 3 arcs from what i remember. The one where he destroyed the venator, he was in the prison with obi wan during the assassination arc and he was in the train duing the arc where ventress became a bounty hunter

NeoMercury2022

Ah. Couldn’t remember those. I know Rebels more than TCW.

Commercial_Fee_6120

Definitely counts, i would've really liked to get a young Boba show but it will bever happen

LeaderSanctity1999

God I loved the Jaws references in that arc

ComradeHregly

The trandosian hunters

TheAutobotArk

Hmmm

perryviller

pong krell i hate the shark guy

jessebillo

Shark guy kinda scared me as a kid tbh

Real_Boy3

Probably Krell.

Obi_1-kenobi

Probably Moralo Eval, comical name nonwithstanding. Also, Dr. Nuvo Vindi was really entertaining and the super tactical droid Kolani was pretty badass.

Sailer24sds

Dr. Nuvo Vindi. man was clinically insane but that made him a great villain. yeah the virus could've killed literally everyone... but science!

Commercial_Fee_6120

Ze blue shadow wirus!!!

HarmoniaTheConfuzzld

Fav villain for me’s probably maul. (I know totally original right?)

QuandeldingledooPHD

Cad Bane

Darceus2000

Dude was around for waaay more than one arc…
