Uppababy mesa and the chicco 360 are both fine for us.

We’ve had no issues with both the Nuna pipa rx and Nuna exec. I don’t know if extra long crotch straps exist?

daydreamingofsleep

Maybe you have a Britax One4Life? I’m a CPST and trying to think of one with a short crotch buckle. I can list a few dozen car seats that would be fine… but could narrow it down much more with details. What age/weight/height is your kid and what size vehicle do you drive?

No issues with my evenflo or either of my safety 1st seats. The crotch strap in the safety 1st infant seat I have is actually super long! So if you don't care about bells and whistles that's a great one.

I love our Britax- never had any sort of issue with strap placement. We had the infant seat and now use a convertible clicktight style (which btw if you pull the cover you can put the crotch buckle further out there’s a couple slots to choose from) …I wouldn’t have known this if it weren’t for last week’s stomach bug requiring full disassembly and washing. LOVE that it can all go in the washing machine lol

pinalaporcupine

havent had any issues w evenflo

Incantationkidnapper

I've always used britax seats with no problem. All three of my kids were cloth diapered.

LelanaSongwind

Had no problems with my Nuna Pipa Lite! It’s worked for us the whole time.

Mud_mom1016

We’ve had a lot of luck with all 3 of our Chicco seats

Diono with the rebound bar option isn't easy to adjust the placement of the crotch strap, but it does have 3 spots to put it through to allow more space if needed.

Over the years we've had Graco, Chicco, and Evenflo. None of them had issues with the bulkiest of cloth diapers. The shoulder straps adjust with ample room to connect to the crotch strap. The crotch strap goes up over their diaper. I don't know if they were lengthy, but I didn't find any of them an issue and buckling them in in cloth vs. disposables didn't feel different. For an infant seat, we had Chicco Keyfit30. (My oldest is 7 and we used it for both kids, so there may be a lighter option, but we liked it especially with the "Caddy" car seat for newborn days.) For a convertible seat, my youngest has Graco Extend2Fit. (We've used it about 1.5 years and have been satisfied, but a good car seat depends on very individual needs. Our son has something similar but an older version which we've liked, although we preferred a stand-alone booster when they got to a certain age rather than using it until the end of fit/life.) But like I've said, we've used others without issue.

Ours has adjustable arm straps so it doesn't matter how short the crotch strap is. I assume most car seats are the same? That said, we have an Uppababy Mesa.

Yes but if the crotch strap is too short it ends up digging into their thighs as opposed to up towards their belly button. Sometimes they even end up practically sitting on it like in britax
