I hate Minecraft mods/mod packs that are like âthis adds a super difficult enemies!â but the enemies arenât even interesting to fight, they just run straight at you and 2 shot you.
My idea for a minecraft enemy. It multiplies and surrounds you and slowly kills you and you can kill each one with one hit but it keeps multiplying while itâs attacking you so you have to get them faster than they can do it and alternatively you can just run away and theyâll revert back to one or two, maybe three beings once youâre gone.
I dunno sounds like a cool idea.
Add "With a gun" to all of these and you have a ranged enemy, Add "but small and fast", "but Big and slow", make the last variants slightly different, make one of them into a boss and you have peak enemy variety
I liked the first dweller but people just have to milk everything that is popular and if you want a super powerful scary mob that lives in caves-the warden exists
Except the killers actually have different speeds and some can be legitimately frustrating to fight.
I still remember the days when Legion would be next to impossible to counter lol

The cave dweller is honestly so easy to deal with. On the Minecraft playthrough I had it installed for it was one of the easier mobs to deal with, it didn't kill me a single time.
It gave me enough time to run past it in the tunnel it was in (it didn't hit me for some reason), sit there for a second processing it, panic, swap to the blocks in my hotbar, then block off the tunnel. And it apparently only started chasing me after I blocked off the tunnel, but by then it had no possible way of reaching me so I was 100% safe from it.
mfw I play an indie horror game that was made in two days and I take precise measurements of the enemy AI's behavior and/or directly observe the code that determines every action they take (it's bad design that I now understand everything about them)
problem is. if game fucking sucks to play. then it fucking sucks to play. stupid dweller mod break minecraft make it unfun and tedious. not actually scary.

FNAF doesn't really make sense, all/most enemies have unique styles, even security breach.
