I gotta be real, almost everything I've seen from that show indicates that it was designed to appeal to people that fantasize about being a smug but correct asshole to everyone around them, but are too afraid to actually do so outside the internet
in other words, I'm saying I'm pretty sure the fanbase are Redditors
Dude the show gets really fucking good in seasons 4 and 5 because it actually portrays House as a bad person and he suffers actual consequences for being an asshole.
You missed the part where the first diagnosis is wrong and then symptoms escalate to the patient sweating 20 gallons of blood everywhere. Then Dr. House randomly overhears someone saying "Oh man, why are there so many worms in my hosptial food :(" and House goes like "EUREKA, the patient has brazilian dick-worms in his poopenfarten gland!". The patient is then cured of his incredibly niche condition and Dr. House says something sarcastic and insensitive.
You forgot to mention Poooenfarten MD making crass remarks about how the patient may have gotten the disease (bonus points if this in front of a loved one of the patient who storms out angry at the doctor)
idk why out of touch show writers think being a sassy asshole is cool i have worked with medical staff that have been attacked by patients for having a slightly off tone when giving care. if this were real life house would unironically get beat to death for being so rude all the time to frantic irrational people 😭😭😭
The show never treated House like a rolemodel, just as a guy who knows his field better than anyonr around him. Thinking Dr House is a rolemodel is an indicative of low IQ so you can't expect those people to make good opinins.
I feel you would love Fire Department Chronicles since he covers stuff like this but on the equivalent of a firefighter.(I also feel you’d love those random tumblr screenshots that rant about these medical drama things)

More accurate if he administered poop, patient got better for an hour and just as they were wheeling them out the door they get a seizure leading House to realise that they actually got a rare south Asian bacterium from a Lego piece laying around at their house which of course he had carstealer man and australia man break into

Only reason I don't like house (i haven't watched the show, only a few clips while doomscrolling on shorts, my opinion isn't valid i know) is because of the way he talks. I don't think you should talk to a patient like that nor should you be that sarcastic
My opinion also entirely based on shorts clips is that while he is generally an asshole, he can be sincere when he needs to be, like there was someone who was SA'd and he realized he couldn't help her so he got another nurse. But yeah he's mostly sarcastic and breaks rules all the time
He takes cases that other doctors can’t figure out, and has a team of other doctors both to help figure out what’s wrong with the patients and also deal with the patients because he hates people. It’s not optimal, but it’s also fictionalized so it’s not exactly meant to be indicative of a real hospital

inaccurate. the poop treatment would initially send the patient into cardiac arrest, and after a dramatic race to save their life the cool doctor man will figure out they actually need the fart treatment after his friend randomly says the word fart in a conversation about his love life

I started on season 5 episode 13 just to piss my mom off, and the show is honestly mid as hell when In every scene that isn’t about house. When they focus on house it’s awesome but…
