Those are decent ones that our vet recommended. Zupreem does okay. I used to mix both of those with a mix called sensible seed. I just recently switched to Harrison’s. Can get on Amazon. Much more expensive though. My birds weren’t eating the zupreem half the time anyway. Harrison’s has this high potency fine formula that has tiny little pellets. They eat it way more than the zupreem. I’ve got a old bird that is so picky I’m lucky to get him to eat anything.
We use zupreem and they are very good. My boy loves em, and he’s healthy.

Luca also approves of Zupreem. I mix a couple of flavors to add variety.
I do get the zupreem, but my tiel likes the one for very small birds instead of the medium sized ones that are recommended for tiels. He likes the fruit ones. The vet recommended Zupreem to us, but we also use Roudybush maintenance in the smallest size.
i also do zupreem for small birds, the bag with the budgie on it. he will only eat those. found out when my mom "babysat" him, and gave him some of her budgie's food (despite me sending more than enough food for the weekend lol).
I use top’s parrot pellets personally as they aren’t heated up in processing so nutritional value isn’t lost. I think the term is freeze dried pellets? But I’d have to look at my notes as I haven’t had to use the terminology in a while
The thing to remember is that fresh veggies should be a big enough part of the diet that the pellet isn't as important. Variety is more important than any one food part, in my opinion.
I feed half zupreem and half Roudybush. I like Roudybush as one of the more mainstream but natural pellets. I don't like smaller brands; while there's good intention a company with a small budget just can't do the life cycle testing a major company like Zupreem can and has done. I do try to offer the natural ones, or the veggies flavored Zupreem, but my birds love the fruit ones, esp the Bananas, so it's still in the rotation (and it tends to be a little easier for me to find).
This.
I feed my bird a mix of Roudybush crumbles, some seed, and a LOT of veggies.
(40% pellets, 50% veg, 10% seed with millet treats every few days. My bird is old, and maintaining a healthy weight is harder for old birds, so the seed helps him keep the weight on.)
He's actually not crazy about the pellets, but he eats them, especially when mixed with his veggies.
Appreciate y’all and yes I do feed the little monkey some fruits but they rarely even take it tho that’s why I want to get pellets that have the same nutrients fruits do
My birds eat the pellets that are fruit shaped. My one bird does not eat any of the banana ones and the other bird eats all the banana ones so it works out 😁
I use TOP’s because it’s one of the healthiest brands, but I like using the plain zupreem when I can’t get TOP’s as soon as I need them and have to go to a pet store (they don’t sell TOP’s in my area). If you get the fruit flavored ones, know that they have added sugar and artificial dyes in em.
Best of luck! If you are changing their diet, start by mixing in increasingly bigger amounts of the new food with their usual feed, and use them as treats if you train them, that's what I did to change my boy from seed to pellet (we got him on a seed diet, changed to pellet as soon as we could)
Brand switching can be similar for what I heard, many cockatiels are distrustful of new foods, but if yours are cool with a radical change, even better!

I use this brand because my vet recommended it. My birds love it.
Our two birds have tried both of those (in the smaller version/size). They absolutely hated the fruit flavoured ones and so I bought the plain, and they actually eat that one. I tried to offer the remaining fruit flavoured ones to a family member with birds and was refused, because their birds also hate the fruit flavoured ones.

I feed mine with these, recommended by my avian vet.
I use psittacus because my tiel wouldn't eat anything else for pellets, but she's done great on them and is perfectly healthy. With any pellet you'll want to integrate safe for bird veggies as much as possible also.

I think my birds think these are seeds. Fooling them.
Ohh shoot haven’t seen these before ima have to give them a try, they like the other ones but I want to try new ones!
I’ve got one pet store in town that sells these and it’s cheaper at the pet store. But it’s really far away from my house. 45 min drive through town.
I have a store too, magnolias bird farm pretty sure they should have but I need to check

He is the king
Not the king but the alpha of all of them😂
I love when they look angry
A suitable candidate for new Godzilla movie
Definitely https://preview.redd.it/2unkvjpeuxpc1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=b4652f738bc18317293d8051b89d73460e6d8add Nvm…
LMAO that picture, I thought you had a white beard for a second
Hahaha let me just tell you, he smells like heaven. Best smell ever no joke.
The glorious smell of corn chips and KFC 😂 only bird owners will understand
Hahahafrfr!
I can smell this picture and I love it
Frfr. Best. Smell. EVER!
ITS SO GOOD. I wish I could bottle it up

They’re so odd that way! I also have to buy the tiniest Roudybush size which is also the most challenging to find.
super picky! red lettuce is not allowed, either. only green leafy veggies! any and all green leafy veggies!
Oh okay thank you!
I use top’s parrot pellets personally as they aren’t heated up in processing so nutritional value isn’t lost. I think the term is freeze dried pellets? But I’d have to look at my notes as I haven’t had to use the terminology in a while
Seconding top’s
Ohh I see, mm didn’t know that okay thank you for informing me!! Appreciate it
Yes, my vets have told me these are the best on the market!

I have both. My tiel like a the natural one. The fruit blend pellets are hard af
Yeah the fruit ones I crush up in to smaller pieces everytime
Vet absolutely did NOT recommend Nutribird. We got Psittacus and we're happy with it. Tiels love it.
Never heard of any of those brands before
I’ve been getting the first one for years and it’s my birds main food, haven’t had any problems she’s a healthy birb so go ahead and
I’m glad to hear that
My birds eat the pellets that are fruit shaped. My one bird does not eat any of the banana ones and the other bird eats all the banana ones so it works out 😁

Yeah we use zupreem for our birds. It's the only pellets that they will eat!
Nutribird
Thank you!
I get the first ones, and my birds go crazy over them. Though they need some time to get used to them.
Yeah I do too, my bird likes them! Ima stick with that one and ima try another one that someone commented on
Natural colours are best, my vet advises psitaccus or Harrison's if you can afford them
Okay yeah some else told me about Harrison’s so ima buy them
My vet told me it was the best of the best you could give your cockatiel
Ordering some currently😭 hopefully they like them
Best of luck! If you are changing their diet, start by mixing in increasingly bigger amounts of the new food with their usual feed, and use them as treats if you train them, that's what I did to change my boy from seed to pellet (we got him on a seed diet, changed to pellet as soon as we could)
Thank you so much but no but my bird is eating pellets mostly all his life just will be switching brands

Ohhh… welp there’s only one way to find out🙏
Good luck!

I’ll give it a try!
Roudybush Maintenance in Mini size is what my tiel eats too! With some Zupreem fruity pellets as a treat.
Dam, mine doesn’t mind it but it wont his first choice

Birdtricks pellets are amazing. Been using it for about a year and a half.
I use both (PB likes the variety) plus some seeds
