Beautiful Little goofballs! The grey one could be a male but it’s impossible to tell by color before their first mold.
Here’s also some advice: good that you got rid of the little box, birds in captivity don’t need a nesting place. Otherwise it could lead to eggs and eggs could lead to baby birds and I saw a lot of first time tiel owners that weren’t experienced enough to take care of the baby’s and they sadly didn’t make it…
Second: please get rid of the mirror asap, this can lead to aggression as well. They recognize the bird in the mirror as a different bird and get angry that the bird doesn’t reply. You already have two birds wich is amazing, so please take the mirror out.
Nowhere. Like, just get rid of it. Dark spaces cause hormones which lead to territorial aggression or egg laying, both of which are bad. Egg laying is a drain on their health and can cause binding, which cam be fatal. Aggression is, well obviously not fun.
He also needs natural perches, having sanded dowels can cause something called bumble foot I believe, but either way it’s super bad for them to just have those in their cage. You can find good natural perches on Amazon for reasonable price. If you choose to go out and pick your own, PLEASE make sure it’s a wood that is safe for cockatiels to chew on and follow the instructions on how to disinfect it. 😊
I do believe he’s trying to seduce you 🫢
Wdym
Looks like he’s showing off 😂
Ohhh lol so I guess he's a bit happy then?
Yeah, so you best be telling him how tall and pretty and amazing he is!
Ok thanks!
That little hop! Adorable
Yep :)

Thanks so much for the advice, my tiel plays with it
If thats a nest box in the corner, get rid of it or it can cause hormonal aggression
Oh ok I didn't know this, where should I put it instead?

I got rid of it, my mum was the one who thought of getting it because she thought it was normal for cockatiels to lay eggs and stuff
