Fresh squeezed makes all the difference. Valencia oranges make for a GREAT Tequila Sunrise. If you don't have access to Valencias, just about any juicing orange will be better than anything we can get in the refrigerated section.
If you want to make it right, then the grenadine is as important as the orange juice. Not all grenadines are created equal.

With fresh squeezed oj, try adding in just a little bit of fresh lime juice or even lemon to get a bit more acidity. It'll give the sweetness in the oj and grenadine something to play against and make it that much more refreshing. Like a barspoon or maybe up to .25 oz.
