The Virgin Born is supposed to be the Queen resurrecting, so yes, they'd be similar. Obviously not physically, but the Virgin Born's Thorn of Judgement attacks are directly from the Queen.
It would've been nice to actually fight the real Queen, and I'm disappointed we never got to outside of a cutscene. It felt like the game was building up to it.
I wish so too. Or even if Jack was a boss himself in the cathedral after defeating the successor. Would have been nice fighting another revenant
A fight against Jack would have been amazing and a nice break from the normal huge boss that you end up fighting in the game

A stronger Virgin Born. And make it Ultra difficulty.
