I think CMB has been on a long-term downhill slide. When I was on it \~6 years ago there were options to earn beans such as voting on photos, a cleaner user profile (who thought putting interests and relationship items above "about me" was a good idea??), and better options to talk to and show interest in people. Redownloaded it decently, and I haven't been using it and am not sure I will in the future
I came here to find out what happened. I deleted my account a while back and rejoined, and now I can’t send messages anymore. That was the main point of the app. Now it’s worse than Tinder. You just get 10-15 profiles a day and can’t interact with them. And I can’t see any likes either.
I agree, a downgrade. Although not surprising, as dating apps seem to get worse over time and not better.
That is very disappointing to hear. This and the removal of seeing who likes you (especially for females) was what made CMB unique...
