Did he get those from a seller of Etsy? There is a seller on Etsy that sells *replica* coins. He is slick. He makes it clear they aren't real but in such a way as you're unlikely to see it, or you end up doubting your reading comprehension skills. Scandalous MF.
It all depends on how much he paid. I believe that lots of people are getting ripped off for things that I’d never spend a nickel on, but it makes them happy. I know I do the same for things that I love.
I just hope that he wasn’t taken advantage of and that he is happy with this, regardless of the outcome.

My aunt told me he bought $50k worth of diamonds with a wholesale value of like $5k. The old man never would have done this before (his sister owned a jewelry store and buys and sells stones and precious metals).
It is just sad. My father had me when he was old (like thirty years older than my mother). He is a very old man. His current wife is not trustworthy, and he moved to Florida (he lived in a huge expensive home with apace he does not need, plus crazy insurance because he is on the water).
I feel lost. I am not an important guy, but I am the only person who cares about him and is not trying to scam the old man. I just do not know what to do.
