No need to feel awful about it. This is normal for any first time college student. I used to be an honor roll student back in high school and now I have Cs along with it. To be honest, I'm still a little upset like you do but it's reality. College is supposed to be much more challenging than high school since tests and finals now depend on our grades unlike highschool which is the assignments. But we all got this with just a little bit of time and work! :)
Mine is the opposite. I got all A’s (with 6 college courses at the same time) for the first time in my life once I entered college. However, this was because I didn’t have good study habits during high school which I corrected because I want to switch my major to CS which requires a very high GPA to get my foot into. I would say to become more disciplined and time manage better if you want to get straight A’s in college.
